The fact that you open source your knowledge and design of your products is quite something. I wish there were more people like you in the world! A sincere, THANK YOU, Paul.
Thank you! UoG you have been an amazing resource over the years and you just added more to that! Thank you again! Hope the spring/summer treats you well.
Thank you for those plans, very much appreciated 🙂 7/8 wood can be difficult to find, guess I would need a planer. So the fact you took the time to include a 3/4 version is awesome!
Thanks so much for sharing Paul; and great job on the detailed drawings Fred. One thing I recall from one of your videos some time back (or may have dreamed it, lol), was the unique touch you added to your entrance reducers. Believe you cut away full 15 deg angle - or maybe a chamfer. I recall thinking how innovative!!! We all have seen side rails compress over time and make entrance reducers harder to install. I plane mine a touch under 3/4". Your way, however, always ensures a tight fit. Maybe worth adding this to your list as a stand alone or addition to your bottom board design drawings. Great to see ya back...
Thank you for the wonderful videos and plans. I would love to see a video on how to store comb after honey harvest, particularly on how to store indoor vs outdoor and saving wax from WAX MOTHS! Thanks and please keep up the great videos.
Paul, could you please explain using canvas as a intercover. As the canvas will shrink with use what size do you start with and is it prewashed so as to prevent it from shrinking? Enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much, I have tried hard to come up with a good pollen trap design, I will try this one out this winter. I build equipement in the winter and hustle bees all summer long.
A friend of mine Tim Row (rose hive inventor) had a wheal barrow similar to yours. Man you could fit everything in it. It had two compartments and room for smoker and tools and all. Am building one at the moment to meet my needs. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
I've watched a few of your videos and see how really expert you are by way of your attitude towards the way you go about things. I noticed the hiveware and wondered about it all then found you have the plans on line which is amazing. The dual material dimensions is very good too because who has 22mm wood available???? BTW I'm a draughtsman and the plans are very well done.

The labeling jig is a great idea Paul. I started wearing my belt this past inspections, very very handy item to have. Now to earn that patina. .

Good luck! I'm looking forward to winter workshop projects too.

The last time I saw such a level of efficiency was when I traveled to Germany and stayed at a hotel where even the towels were numbered.
Thank a lot. I like your video so much
Glad to hear that! Thank you.

A slower explanation would be just fine. This is an offshoot from your usually relaxed videos. Who has you at gunpoint?
I thought the pace was fine. You know you can slow down or speed up RUclips videos yourself?
