I'm 65, 1st generation, born in Japan and been in the USA since 1963 and never had the right opportunity to go back to visit. I enjoyed wandering around the Prince Shinigowa Station and area. I stayed at their hotel, shopped at the shops in that area. Also went to Hakone. It’s lovely there.

Do you find there’s an age discrimination for studying in Japan? I’m not sure if that question makes sense….say you’re in your 30s, would people find it unusual if you were going back to university or trying to find a new job?
Yes and no 😂 In Japan it’s normal to do all the school you want at once before you enter the workforce, so even when I told my coworkers I was going back to school (after only working 2 yrs) they thought it was so strange 😅 But if you’re foreign you get a pass anyway on weird stuff 🧍♀️ I wouldn’t worry about it, I have classmates in their upper 20s and 30s too!
Is your studies in English? I will be in Japan soon as an ALT. I would like to do my masters but I don't know if I will get a program in English and if I can afford the fees.
My parents said I can't go to Japan by my self but it's super safe and I was wondering if I can live with you because they'll be convinced, every RUclipsr said no but can u? :D
