Adebisi's hat was the real star of this show. It hung to his scalp for dear life, no matter the angle, and never let go. That's real love...
Lol
😂
He was using tit tape...the tithead
Aint NO PRISON IN THE US IS AS RELAXED AS OZ.....THATS WHY THE SHOW IS CALLED OZ BECAUSE ITS STRAIGHT MAKE BELIEVE.
Adebesi's hat DOES defy gravity.
One of the best characters ever on TV.
HBO knows a thing or two about characters.
Novel Chaser Exactly
You know it.
Indeed
The BEST character.
Oz had a ton of memorable characters but he was arguably the best.
Agreed. He never bad visitors or a family which made him even better.
That one character was very interesting. He wasn't introduced until the series finale though. The seemingly gay virgin club owner , Alonzo Torquemada. I really wish he came a season or two b4.
Cyril was the best
He’s my second favourite behind Ryan.
Hes such a great character actor - i remember him in the wire.
"Morales, no one wants your ass." 🤣🤣🤣
He'd better sit his old azz down 😅
"The answer is no. You want him dead? Grab a knife" lmao. Adebisi had the best lines.
Arif was lucky Supreme didn’t kill him after that. Adebisi probably convinced him to be patient.
Adebisi's hat hanging on by the power of faith.
It’s amazing how so many people will name shows like Sorpanos, game of thrones etc as HBO best shows and Oz had the most dynamic and interesting characters and character development. I recently rewatched it and considering doing it again lol
It was fantastic but only up to the end of Season 4, Part 1 which coincidentally is when Adebisi died. Everything from the writing, directing, casting, etc went downhill. The only character that really made it interesting after that was Omar White.
@@cun7usand left the show to do the mummy returns lol
@@cun7us the show flame dout when murders were happening like 6 or 7 times a show.....when in the early seasons it was a BIG DEAL
@@cun7usI agree with you but with ALL the 4th Season. Idk why they didnt stopped after the 4th, the end of the the Season was already not that good. They brought some characters with no charisma or nothing. Some people can argue is because they didnt had the time to develop. But look How Dino was in one EP.

Adebisi and O'Reilly made the show. Hands down
Steve B o’reilly yes
@tapset47 Adebisi WAS Oz.
Adebisi, O'Reilly, Said, Beecher, Schillinger and Keller made this show
@@cicranelnaz Yep.
Adebisi, sayid and augustus hill
"Of course you dont, Kenny. Of course you don't."
I'm so glad Wangler got what was coming to him. And that it was from Adebisi's gun made it even better.
K-Blue he tryna get rid of Poet and Junior too.
Adebisi had it in for Wangler ever since he killed the old man Jara who was basically like a father to him. He used him as a foot soldier, or a "useful idiot" and then disposed of him when the time was right.
Yeah, I absolutely despised wangler
That Hat deserved Oscar lol
Adebisi character eveloution was done perfectly
The actor that played adebisi is such a great actor he made you forget his male model looks
Literal model, he worked for Brit & Euro fashion brands😍😍😍
"say hi to Schillinger for me" LOL
@Michael Challenger, Skilinger.
*Challenger*
Yo Schallenger
Thank you for this. His acting had been solid the entire show all four seasons he was present.
Adebisi was a really smart guy for such a brute.
Smart? No. He ended up in OZ after all. He's just devious in his field of expertise which happens to be criminal acts.
EmptyMan000 he came from Africa and came to rule the inside (which rules the outside criminal world of America)

Kenny: "I don't understand man."
Adebisi: "Sigh......Of course you don't, Kenny. Of course you don't."
The moment Kenny outlived his usefulness and it was decided he had to be killed.
Adebisi had an epic run as pod boss. As frightening as his was powerful as he was conniving.
Lol epic run for sure right? His best scene was when Pacamo and Schibetta tried to jump him but he whipped both them and ended up r*ping Schibetta lol
I liked how when Frenchie shot Keller, Keller was just walking around all normal as if there wasn't a guy shooting at everyone.
Good spot
the slow motion baywatch shot 💀💀
Lmao that was funny as hell

Adebisi and O'Reilly were my fave characters on the show. Both cunning and manipulative. Great shows HBO made back in the day.
Donald Groves, the mother eating, 'Saving dad for Thanksgiving' cannibal executed in season one was one of my faves.
O'Reilly is to manipulator
@@fredericovono2657 ye it became a bit too predictable after season 4 Ryan had maybe a little competition
@@chriscraven9335 😂😂
@@easygrin1127 agreed. Unlike Adebisi, Ryan's character became really boring and stale by the end of the show, and it got annoying that he was the Creator's Pet/Karma Houdini and got a (relatively) happy ending he didn't deserve. I skip a lot of Ryan's later season scenes when I rewatch episodes.
Wrangler had the most satisfying death in fiction
Adebisi is the reason why u never underestimate people intelligent... He was lowkey a manipulator he orchestrated all that chaos and succeeded right before he died knowing Kareem Said would betray him.
This show was incredible.
Fantastic actor
Absolutely. He did one hell of a character
Great show. Remember the 1st time I discovered Oz. Can't wait to see "Adebisi" on Chicago Fire.
In the end I think adebisi got fed up with life in Oz. He could've continued and killed Said in many different ways. But Adebisi saw his fate. Death or live long enough to be killed eventually by his own men. He couldn't kill himself, needed someone worthy, in Said he saw a mirror image of himeslf manifested in Said's leadership & goodness, 2 Lions. It could've ended only one way, which is why he gave the videotape to Said. 💀
I thought the same. If he wanted anyone to kill him, he wanted it to be Said and he knew Said probably wouldn't get in trouble for it because it would be self defense.
How is Said a mirror version of him. The guy was everything he was not...

Sucked that Adebisi died but he went out in epic style in that fight w Saied.
@Julio Romero doesnt fucking matter whether he was stooge, this guy was ruthless through out the whole season and its more fitting for him to die this way
Actually wasn't an epic fight. Since they didn't showed any of. It

After the death of Adebisi, the show started to go downhill.
Then they brought in burr and he was kinda annoying to watch
@@126rollins23 Burr had one of the most gangsta intros. His was in the top 3.
tryannosaurus flex I’m with you on that. Burr got annoying fast. I liked him at first, that scene where they whack Method Man though, charging him with the three disses is money
Should’ve ended there or when Hill died
That's kinda funny. Wangler asking about the gun and HE ends up getting shot with it
this show was a classic
Adebisi is one smart mf. Such a great character.
Greatest character ever. This’d be my favorite show if every character didn’t so stupidly let Ryan O’Reilly manipulate them. It’d of been more realistic if Dino killed Ryan in the first episode. I just hated how dumb everyone was letting themselves get played time and time again. Outside of that, Adebisi is legendary
Dino's episode one beatdown of Ryan is epic, and even more satisfying to go back and rewatch when you finish the series and see what a scumbag sociopath Ryan really was. Dino should have wasted Ryan in that bathroom, at least he would have gone out swinging and saved everyone else (especially his family) a lot of pain.
Lol yea ita fx up what happen to Ryan's lil brother cyril with the brotherhood and Ryan was getting away with alot of luck I guess cyril being on deathrow because of Ryan was a payback in a way
It's a lot of the wire characters in this
Bryan Belcher Wrong The Wire has a lot Oz characters
If not for Oz, shows like the Wire, Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire dont exist. This show started it all.

Say what you want about both Adebisi and O'Reilly. But they respected eachother. And Adebisi saved Cyrils life.
Adebesi was that character you loved and hated but you knew his end was coming sooner than later he was just a bad dude all around
I use to watch this show alot& this makes me miss it! Thanks for posting
That was beast how the muslims wanted him to kill for them and he called em out on it lol
Robert Moreno Arif was weak and that’s the exact reason why Adebesi treated him and the Muslims the way he did.
A muslim can kill when its lawfull
A muslim cant kill when its unlawfull
Adebesi telling the guy

Was an in-acurate statement

Adebisi's evolution was a fascinating one....in season 1 when he was just a henchman for Jefferson Keane, the original leader of the Homeboys, he was an idiot. But fast forward three years and now he shuts down the Italians and the Latinos and singlehandedly conquers Em City. Yeah, definately fascinating.
He manipulated all the right people and had the foresight to see opportunities to get power. And he knew how to get revenge on his enemies. I find that sexy as hell.

I’ve always wondered if Oreily knew and even helped Adebisi pick torrent to give the gun to. Adebisi realized when Bricks jr and poet were antagonizing him about the shoes they cut to Adebisi and he smiles. Maybe because of the bullying but I think his light went on and thought “ frenchy would pop them knowing Bricks will continue to bully him” Now remember Oreily was talking to frenchy. Quote “ I don’t know but if an opportunity presents itself grab it because you won’t get a 2nd chance” then when he leaves he walks by Simon and he now puts the gun under frenchys pillow

When Adebisi died the show died with him
It got too bizarre
The show Lost literally lost it's mystique after Mr. Eko's "death" although it was still a good show. Adewale's acting really adds to shows in a unique way.
Adebisi was the best character in it. A horrible brute-ish monster, but clearly quite clever, or at least Machevelian. Would fuck people up, but would always co-erse someone else into doing the real dirty work. Also, if you see the actor interviewed, he's a really well-spoken English guy who convinced the producers, after trying several different accents, that Adebisi should be Nigerian....Worked out quite well in the end.
I loved him as the crack dealer in that 50 Cent movie
Smart, cunning and with good instincts too - he immediately saw right through "Mobay" and never trusted him
Well. He's actually Nigerian. He must have heard his father use that accent

Can't believe Adebisi and Keller never had a scene together
I believe Keller can beat Adebisi in a fight and I see him as the more dangerous of the two
@@kapitangtinola6429 No I seriously doubt Keller could beat Adebisi in fight
@@kapitangtinola6429 That's some wishful thinking Kap.
Adebisi and Keller had multiple things in common from being bi to being killers. Interesting what they would have talked about.
It is like in the Sopranos that Junior has no direct conversation with Sil, Paulie and Chris which is just so sad for the amazing lines the writers could have done with that. I can get why the writers didn't because Tony's crew and associates had tons of rats.
Another interesting thing the Soprano writers did is they went out of their way to show that Chris used to watch Meadow in like an older brother way in one episode in season 1 and for the rest of the series they had no conversation together again.
"At the start of the first season Meadow is close enough to Christopher to ask him for drugs and trusts him enough to keep it a secret. After she breaks down in tears when Christopher confronts her in Adriana's car he tells her he'll take her out for a happy meal like they used to when she was younger."
It was from this episode that they allegedly never talk again.
@@DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants honestly, I think Meadow kind of out grew Chris and from season 2 and up, Chris had a lot more responsibility. Meadow could've easily asked Chris for ecstasy in season 3, but how do you think that would've went over with Tony? Some speed is one thing but ecstasy is a different world. But I know where you're coming from. Adebesi and Keller never had whole scene's together but they have made remarks towards each other, like when Adebesi came back from the psyche ward and Keller told him "what's up Africa?" .
The Wire and OZ seem to be integrated
crazy too see the wire & soprano characters in one show
You forgetting actors from The Corner, too. Reg. E. Cathy and Lance Reddick were OZ and The Corner.

The best thing about OZ was that a whole bunch of us were wondering how Adebisi was able to keep his cap on his head. I still think that the tiny ones had to have some adhesive on them because there is just no way. Some of you probably wasted a lot of time trying to do the Adebisi little cap look.
