I like your style. Couple of guys in a boat jigging eyes. No fancy electronics or planers on a 90 thousand dollar boat. Just simple fishing, having a blast yanking limits.
It doesn't get any better than that. I got my personal best walleye in the north gap a couple days ago. 31" 8.5 lbs. We have something special here on Erie. Thanks for showcasing it.
Awesome bro! we went out all day sunday n nothing but gobies! fished hard for perch and walleye- hopefully get out his weekend! awesome video as usual! hope alls well and you get out again asap
wonderfully fun to watch you guys catch these eyes.... well done. I will be trying just a jig and crawler for sure. keep the videos coming. Also some lake depth info , what lb line info would be awesome.
Nice fish!! Didn't make it out for walleye this spring but nice to see you slay them!! I plan on putting in some time jigging for them out of my kayak next spring.
I only ever went walleye fishing once. We were on Lake Erie too but we were trolling. It sucked. Sometimes we could even tell if we had a fish on because all the rods where bent and we couldn't even feel them fight because of the boards the charter boat captain had on.
I love it there and nothing better then the shore bite for walleye with the light line and rods. The limit is 6 fish per man looks like you could have kept 2 more. Great video
Thanks bud, (sorry not sure how to directly reply). Though, it is lookin like I'm gonna miss out on em. Arm is still killin me, got a Dr apt for it Thursday, and the Lake Erie water temps are already 57°. The Walleyes will begin moving deeper very soon. I just hope the entire season isn't messed up for me. On another note, I do fly fish as well and tie my own flies, which I also tie jigs as well. If you ever need or want a few, you have only but to ask and I'd be happy to tie some for ya.
Very nice job, my friend. Haven't gone out much for walleyes this year, battling a bout of tendonitis in my left arm (casting arm, of course). My cousin and I have been hitting the big Smallies in and around the harbor, cuz landed a nice 28" post-spawn walleye right off the South Gap on a Hot N Tot.
I use a wilderness systems ride 115. I've got it totally rigged out to fish.i purchased at oak orchard kayak in waterport. They are great people and have a huge assortment to choose from. They also will let you try before you buy which is a big benefit. I plan to use mine shortly in the tribs to avoid the crowds during the salmon run.
hey we meet that one day at burt you gave me that black f, but any ways I just wanted to know if the walleye are still biting there and how long will they be down there
I prefer a sit on top bc they are self bailing.(no need to worry about getting swamped)My kayak is extremely stabile. I have the ability to stand and sight cast when I need to.I've been a couple miles out into the lake with no worries. I bought mine bc of all those features. Wilderness makes a ride 115 and a 135. The 135 would be better suited for larger bodies of water. The 115 is a nice mix the shorter length makes it little more maneuverable in tight spots.(creeks)
if u wanna keep fishing then when u have 4 in the box wait till ur about to leave to keep ur 5th for the limit then u can still legally fish i got talked to about that from the DNR & almost got a ticket!
Hey bill Question for you- how many feet of water are you in out there? What is the current like? How far out from the harbor? Are you catching the river current? Was thinking about using the kayak either there or inside the windmills, which I know is safer but just curious! Thx tom
+Tom Btot the water depth in that area ranges from maybe 17 ft - up to 28 with a decent current . it dosnt matter where you get out for the walleye theyre thick everywhere the past couple years - they were even getting limits at the foot of ferry believe it or not
He blurred out the departure buoys out in the source of the river, they mark the channel. They are fishing the international border....hope they had a Canadian license.
u should be more careful witth the fish as your sticking your fingers in there gills and tearing them everytime ..I notice you hook it in the lip but your so brutal with the gills u get blood everytime man

Exactly!! This is fishing. Technology has ruined most anglers
It doesn't get any better than that. I got my personal best walleye in the north gap a couple days ago. 31" 8.5 lbs. We have something special here on Erie. Thanks for showcasing it.
gettosurfer i,m hoping the bigger eyes start biting when the temps rise a few more degrees - like to break the 10lb mark
Love it. They way they pop it, and shake their heads. Great video dude.
JohnnyFa thanks man
Awesome bro! we went out all day sunday n nothing but gobies! fished hard for perch and walleye- hopefully get out his weekend! awesome video as usual! hope alls well and you get out again asap
gregoir thanks man - better luck next time out
What a simple way to fish walleye. I love it man. I worry so damn much about complex rigs, that being able to catch fish like this is a relief.
wonderfully fun to watch you guys catch these eyes.... well done. I will be trying just a jig and crawler for sure. keep the videos coming. Also some lake depth info , what lb line info would be awesome.
+Steve Gunderson thanks , i think we fished 30 somthing ft up to 18' and 8 lb low viz green line
Nice fish!! Didn't make it out for walleye this spring but nice to see you slay them!! I plan on putting in some time jigging for them out of my kayak next spring.
+Tom Btot thanks man , you use a sit in or sit on top kayak for the lake ???? - im thinking of getting one myself
I only ever went walleye fishing once. We were on Lake Erie too but we were trolling. It sucked. Sometimes we could even tell if we had a fish on because all the rods where bent and we couldn't even feel them fight because of the boards the charter boat captain had on.
i dont care much for trolling walleye either but they put up a decent fight on light tackle jigging

thanks man , usually no leader unless i use braid
hey we meet that one day at burt you gave me that black f, but any ways I just wanted to know if the walleye are still biting there and how long will they be down there

nothing better then walleye and backwoods
Would you please tell me what boat launch area you went out of I would like to go over there this spring. There's plenty for everyone. Thanks, Fish-On
we launched out of the small boat harbor - theres walleye everywhere from in front of the windmills to the roundhouse at the head of the Niagara

Beaaauty eaters! I'll be looking for some today
Bagelstorm good luck man
Fantastic video, nice fish. Were you just outside buffalo? Why did you have to blur that one section of shore?
thanks man , right in front of downtown buffalo where it enters the niagara river / just tryin not to show the exact drift lane

+Tom Btot the water depth in that area ranges from maybe 17 ft - up to 28 with a decent current .
it dosnt matter where you get out for the walleye theyre thick everywhere the past couple years - they were even getting limits at the foot of ferry believe it or not

TexasSmoking thanks man , i saw that on the news and more coming - stay safe brother
Little boat Lake Erie don’t mix
we been out in 7' waves , not a pleasant experience
I fish Erie in a 14ft all the time. Pick your days and you’ll be just fine
what is the building being blurred out?
It's most likely to cover up where exactly there fishing. But I don't know that for sure.
He blurred out the departure buoys out in the source of the river, they mark the channel. They are fishing the international border....hope they had a Canadian license.
How deep
22 to 30
lol 2:56
Everyone uses this tune for their intro. Nice video though
thanks man
Check out the link
u should be more careful witth the fish as your sticking your fingers in there gills and tearing them everytime ..I notice you hook it in the lip but your so brutal with the gills u get blood everytime man
Eating them
You guys should try to practice selective harvest
that was my first walleye trip in years - selective harvest was last thing on my mind
He used selective harvest, he selected to harvest, well done!!!
I'm hungry now :(
Hahaha your brother broke off and you immediately where like ahh man you suck, and why was part of the video blurred on the coast?
u guys know that once u get ur limit its illegal to keep fishing for them!
+Bob Foszpanczyk I'LL HAVE TO NOT CATCH MY LIMIT NEXT TIME IF THATS THE CASE
Thanks, Dad
Nice you kill the fish!
What size little boat you guys in?
