@Southcoast Surron the only other thing I would say is check the rear suspension & bushings if the rear end sags then your probably gonna be looking at a new rear shock also make sure the front suspension has been kept up to scratch by this I mean regular lubrication also check the spokes on the wheels to make sure there not lose in anyway also make sure the both wheels run true check for signs of damaged or a warped or buckled wheels
Not trying to be a douche, but these tips are really obvious. Asks why he sells it? I mean, if the bike is shit the seller will have a good answer. Are there receipts? How’s the condition? The break pads? For me it’s more checks on the battery. How to know it’s in good condition.

Noooo don’t pay a deposit before you see a bike. More than likely it will be a scam if they ask you for money upfront

No. Legally you can only ride the off road version on private land with the owners permission.
