Vancouver Island BC also has 8-12hr wait at times. Why just report Montreal? My mom almost died waiting amongst the crowd for care. Had I not been there my mom would not have heard her “number” called. She could barely sit upright.
My mom is 70 and she went to the General hospital emergency a few weeks ago. She was very sick. She waited over 14 hours while she was feeling very bad (severe migraine, inflammation and more) and she had to stay on a chair for 14 hours. Not even a bed. Imagine sleeping on a chair at 70 while you have advanced arthritis and no food. The service was horrible and 2 of the nurses were arrogant. Worst service ever.
Not that your mom deserved that, but when they have too few nurses staffed for the un-relenting numbers of people coming in, they simply get worn down, and burnt out. After four, twelve hour shifts of intense mental load, and running they have nothing left. Seventeen years into a career trying to contend in that environment? I've seen 22 year old graduate nurses come in so happy, content, and with energy to no end, just out to help everybody, non-stop. Then I've seen these same young women three years later. Your mom does deserve better than the care she got, and the provincial governments need to hire thousands more healthcare workers to handle this, if Trudeau is just going to keep importing people into this country endlessly.
Why wont you tell us whos filling up the hospital? I already know there understaffed and overworked now explain why instead of just telling us we have a problem
No disrespect to anyone but the Ukraine people ! I was using the RSVQ and I was given a questionnaire and it said that they are providing specialize health care for the Ukrainian people
Our health care system has depleted to the extent that it’s almost nonexistent here in Quebec Take very good care of yourselves. You do not want to end up sick in this province
A lot of immigrants are working in healthcare too…stop blaming immigrants for everything, the problem is the government for not making good immigration laws. Also, I have seen more drug addicts crowding the ER than immigrants…
we have money for giant coc rings downtown but to pay doctors a better salary so they dont keep leaving and spend more money on health care and the infostructure in general. health should be number one priority in any country. you cant do squat if your sick
What was here, was designed an adequet for the natural population number 10 years ago..and would sustain us for our whole lives.800k new a year x 10 years its all over wealmed like a 100 yrs of natural population increase..and the trend will continue if some dont pay attention to these details
You know what will help the situation? The fed's letting another million immigrants this year!

But Ukraine....!
It's been bad for a long time. I'm glad at least people are talking about it. Maybe something can be done
We need another 5 million students and migrants asap
Maybe stop with the million immigrants a year coming in??!
Socialized Healthcare finally collapsing..
surely more uber drivers and cell phone shops will do the trick
Maybe go back to not allowing none-residence of Canada, get free medical!
Awful, housing and healthcare are provincial issues, we need to vote accordingly, for better provincial government policies..
Brutal reporting
Agreed 100% Horrible, Low Budget productions, complete Joke.
Put the right government to fix the problem…
Maybe they should remove the language requirements!
Imagine we lack doctors in Canada and we not even 50million yet!!! 🤷🏿♂️😂😅🙈
What do you mean by “ not even 50 million YET! Keep that overpopulated mess contained to Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal. We are FULL UP out west!
And water is wet.. your point?
Actually water isn't wet. Things become wet with water

We don’t have that problem here in the USA 🇺🇸 I’m showing this to all the Texans 🤣😂.
True, but if you walk into the emergency room in the US, you may as well have sent a few kids to college instead 😂🤣
Canadians first
Charge 10$ at the er's .problem solved😅😅😅😅

Welcome to Canatax. World class health care system.
Well good thing the regime there told the lawyers not to prosecute "Drs" that prescribe Medically assistance in dying....💀☠️
Maybe it’s because our clinics are not taking patients the system is down
I can't find a permanent doctor in the "wonderful" country of Canada.
I guess they're too busy making tik-tok videos and learning dance choreography.
