Stock shocks on the custom and LT pickups ride as if you are in a boat out in the ocean. Need to upgrade asap for the ride you'd expect to have in our $45k-$50k trucks. Nice mod on the trailer break. Buying mine right now.

I know this is a late reply, but I WOULD NOT put the brake controller near the shift lever. If you pull the lever down into drive (or worse, into L) you'll notice the lever will block access to the brake controller unless you reach under the lever. I wouldn't like the risk of knocking the lever out of drive or L while moving down the road.
It’s did not work because they need to program it to the truck and it work.So what the dealer told me if your truck didn’t come with the OEM brake controller the it won’t work only with the aftermarket one
I recently bought a used 2022 Chevy Silverado with this Kurt controller. At the time i was looking at this truck, the salesman didnt know what the knob was, he said it was an interior light. I had no idea what it was. So the only thing i pull is my small 18’ft bass boat. Can i use this Kurt brake adjustment on a trailer like this? The braking mechanism is a actuating tongue, i guess electric over hydraulic.
I have a 2022 gmc sierra with the 5.3 and I have a 2018 surveyor also. Just thought it was funny cause I also have that same break controller. Lol Good videos though.
What the dealer told me if your truck didn’t come with a factory brake controller it won’t work. It won’t program onto the truck. So that’s why you have to buy an aftermarket one.
Here is one of the other mods I did that I highly recommend and I do not see a lot of youtube videos on: bull ring bullet inner bed tie downs. Found them on Amazon for $99. a few tricks for the install that you can show if you do a video on them, but for someone like you and me that uses the bed of their truck for work and play, they are a must have in the bed. Heck, they might even send you a free set if you are going to do a you tube vid on it?
@@carreonsgv I’m not sure just installed it. I can hear the box make a clicking sound when in park when I step on brake then goes away when I put it in drive.

You would have to have electric brakes on the trailer an order for it to work and that salesperson is a dork🤦♂️

I’m getting the Curt Echo Mobile Brake controller. No need for any wiring or drilling.

Yes but only the first light and the last light....no lights between.....
Does it also make a click when in park then when you put it in drive doesn’t make a click.?
