If the Master hadnt let them fight, they should have many of them to complete missions. Those killed were also strong specially the one 2nd to Azumi. Having them kill each other was for drama but dumb.

Yes it was the old man’s wrong decision because there is strength in numbers but why would he let them fight against each other. I guess it really what the director and writer wants to make the story unique, shocking and sad. Thank you for subscribing if you did. 冒頭でおじさん2人が話してますが、戦争を起こさせないために秘密裏に戦争を起こそうとする人を暗殺する必要性から、あずみ達は暗殺集団で派手に目的を遂行するのではなく目立たずに少人数で隠密に事をなすために精鋭が必要であり、強くて何事にも動じない精神を養うために同士討ちをあえてさせたというところですかね。
原作の漫画面白いので読むのをお勧めします。
この爺の教育が少し間違っている 仲間を減らすの 間違い又街の人も助けるがスジ かわるかわらないではない助けるが人の道理 又敵の潜入は一人一人 忍者見たくコツソリ殺すべし だから生まれた大ミス まだみじく でもあずみは成長したうまく育てた
