- Nairobi is a city of contrast. One side of the city is (by design) used to accommodate most of the low to medium-income earners while the other side is where the who-is-who in the city has an office or a business premise (although not always).
The 2 sides are divided by the famous Moi Avenue. On the east side of Moi Avenue we have the Nairobi downtown while the uptown starts from the West of the avenue.
In this video, I will drive around the city (on a slow Sunday morning) to help you appreciate just how different the 2 cities are. Let me know what you like or don't like from the video.

Bro congratulations, good caption with fantastic camera
I like the way you captured it as it is and you really went to most of those places people say are dangerous. As much as it's true you can be mugged at River road it just by bad chance like in any other place in the world. I remember back in 2013 my phone was snatched as I was driving at River road where you see buses as I was trying to locate my brother who had allighted a bus from Mombasa. But that was an incident yet I had been up and down that read literally daily for over three years.
Funny how its giving Zimbabawe almost identical just a bigger
the nairobi they dont show you on tv, unaweza ukasema nchini kwako ni kubaya
Downtown is hectic mkokoteni guy stationary at the roundabout....... another one just standing in the middle of a junction doing nothing 💀😂😂
and always acting like they live in london
The green house.. Afya centre.... 😅😅😅😅
Matatu stages at every available space, hawkers, motorbikes. Disorganisation at it's best. I think Nairobi should not have been made a county. It was better managed by council under a mayor, some places keeps on getting worse and worse
Just fantastic. Remember all the roads you went through, Brought me tears. Watching after 50 years, new buildings very nicely developed. Good luck. European countries will never say good about Kenya. I love my country. I love Kenya. Is in London 70 to 100 car stolen in London Every day 2000 mobile phones stolen in London every day. Robbery's everyday But you will never hear that then in Nairobi, the way is described by European countries.
Why don’t you go back to Kenya 🇰🇪 then?
You hypocrite
Indeed. Trying to tell out story by video. I’m glad you like it
Say Eastlands and Westlands
Ugly infrastructure
