I vote for purple! Whether you do provisional cast on or ball winding, I love watching your podcasts! You have a lovely way of communicating and lots of good info! My yarns were totally in a tangle until I found FrontRange Bags. This woman makes beautiful, but not prohibitively priced bags, and each has 2 rings to thread your yarns through at the corners- then you only need to turn the bag back and forth and voilà! No tangling! The rings open up, too, so that you can change out projects from bag to bag - no prob.Anyway, thanks for all the great teaching and tips!! Cheers! Let’s see that puppy!
Love the Purple yarn cozy!! The inventor was brilliant! I use ziploc bags after I cake my yarn zip it almost all the way closed and run my yarn through the little hole. Keeps it from rolling everywhere. My kids like my yarn bowls as much as I do! I always find m&m, popcorn or erasers or legos in my yarn bowls.
I’d like to see your provisional CO methods. Sometimes I have trouble getting the stitches ‘live’ again. I like both of the yarn cozies and would be very happy to have either one!
I like the blue yarn cozies with cherries! I am interested in the provisional cast on and am looking at a hat pattern by Woolly Wormhead that starts with a permanent provisional cast on. But I think that it’s normally done with scrap yarn? I enjoy your podcasts and always learn something new!
I vote for the cherries because Cherrie is my nickname! Loved your video on avoiding tangled colorwork and all the tips to prevent puckering in the colorwork! So helpful!
I enjoy your videos. Both cozies look very clever & pretty, but PURPLE RULES! ;D PS, hate swift tangles, but especially would welcome provisional cast-on tips...
