I agree he will be better of now and have a better life for his self and all his friends that are gonna work him? Keep up the good work! 👍🇧🇪 (Belgium Europe)

Sooo....yeah. I was just puttering around and noticed I had an unwatched video from the Mendota Ranch. This video! Never got the notification. Not surprising, but just wanted to say. YTube can't be having actual educational videos being broadcast, it doesn't fit their agenda.
Anyhow, he IS looking good! He seems like a sweetie, so don't blame you for curbing those studdy tendencies early on. Keep him sweet and focused on his job! The name is real nice too, Congrats to the winner!
That was a funny story about the 8th grade boys, bet they all remember it just like Luke does!😆Now, grown 30yr old men still remember what Mr. Abraham taught them that day😂Job Done.

Glad RUclips finally let it post .. good video he got some brain surgery beeter to have a nice gelding you can enjoy there lots of stallion's out there a person can always breed to them in my opinion them 1000--4500 stud fees are a bargain as a person doesn't have to house and feed a stud ..

I always learn something new when I watch your videos, so thank you for the hard work. I really like the story about the eighth grade boys. I have a sixteen year old daughter so my plan for scaring the boys is to get a mason jar and put a couple of calf bearings in it the next time my uncle cuts calves. I’ll fill it with formaldehyde, show it to any boys that may come around and ask them if they would like to meet the boys who messed with my daughter.

My husband and I breed/train Reiners and just got into breeding for the cowhorse. We’ve got a 3yo filly by Platinum Vintage out of a Genuine Doc daughter that will be a future cowhorse broodmare for us. I also have a mare by Like A Diamond out of a Royal Silver King daughter who just had her first cowhorse colt this year. I’ve done all aspects of breeding, but you never stop learning, so I really appreciate your videos and seeing how you do things around your ranch. Cheers 🍻
P.s. Your 2yo colt is built REAL nice 😮‍💨

Excellent presentation, What would be interesting to know how you introduced anesthesia (drug and dosage per weight) and then what was the second drug you administered (dosage and per weight). Seems the anesthesia was very effective no pain sensation of the horse during the surgery to take the testicles out. Wonder that youtube does not like that presentation. One of the best I have seen in horse castration, in particular the anesthesia. Personally had used the henderson clamp with an electric drill.

Do you try to castrate your horses a little bit older so their growth plates fuse at the proper time, & still have the hormones to tell them what to do, & when to do it?
Do you notice a difference in your animals if you wait a little bit longer?
    Thank you for the video.
    I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thank you too, for having the tenacity to deal with RUclips and their ridiculous censorship! I'm glad it's back up & they came to their senses.
