Listening to this song brought back all the militant days of the struggle for the survival of the Ijaw nation. Today we are relaxed knowing that we still have to fight for freedom else no one will give it to us. Ahh Izon! Ahh Izon!! Izon Keme emi? Asawana!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@orunyi oh ! Ok. Cool. Happens somtimes, sorry bout dat. @raphealajagbawa7373 This song was released about year 2000 and not earlier. It cannot be earlier than 1999 because it was released when Alameiseigha was governor. Also, it is partially copied from Prince Ifeanyichukwu Onyeachonam's song titled "Defend your name" from "Leave it for God" album. That album was released in 1999.
Reminds me of Chief Ebimami and Home! Any Ijaw who doesn't know him is not an Izon man! One of his nephew always plays this song in our shop back in the days leading up to the war between Itsekiri and Ijaw in Warri.

Barrister S Smooth copied this song tune and part of the lyrics from Ifeanyichukwu Onyeachonam's "Defend Your Name" song. But it is a beautiful song. Especially that Barrister Smooth sang this song when a criminal impersonated him. So the song make lot of sense considering the reason he sang this song. Nice song.
