@@AWD_Kia When people say Valve is a giant company they're not referring to the number of employees, they're referring to their reach and influence within the gaming community.
Well, probably the majority of employees from the classic era of Valve are no longer working for the company, and Gaben is now like semi-retired, so he's not being too present on the company. Basically this is the new era of Valve. We are going to miss the good times.
Or that Valve just can't be everywhere at once with their business model. While Steam, Steam Deck and their singleplayer games are amazing, their multiplayer games, all of them, kind of suck. The only good thing they've done with the multiplayer games is that they have kept the games' spirit alive in the sense that the core games have been kept, just with stuff added on top. A lot of stuff added on top. So, the classic sense of community from back then is still alive in these games, while the games themselves lag behind other live-service games in terms of content. Point is, Valve can still make good singleplayer games, and the good times might continue there, but not in the multiplayer games, only the community is still alive there, while the games are... kind of alive.
Players were forced to move in to CS2. Before official release we had option what to play, but now CS:GO servers are offline and support as well. Hope Classic Offensive will be a thing, but if approved, Valve will lose money, so doesn't looks promising thing.
They know , the proof is that they forced all the CS GO people to CS2, if they make a remake of CS 1.6, everyone will play that. This generation of valve proves to be the most cowardly decision.
bro, valve didnt even finish the game. A lot of tournaments are done, pro players are playing the game but we still dont even have raw input or mouse acceleration options that every other previous cs games had. I am telling you now, DO NOT HOPE FOR ANYTHING THAT IS GOOD FROM VALVE, JUST STOP IT. I MEAN ANYTHING, GOT IT? People need to start giving up on valve already. Not only will they not make anything of good, they will go out of their way to prevent you from having any way, kind, shape or form of FUN. Get this in your head.

I've never bought a single skin as a speculative investment. An expensive skin is less interesting to me than a similar looking one that's cheap. If my skins go up, I don't care. If they crash, I don't care. Number one rule: don't gamble kids, at the end of the day its a game. If you keep this in mind nothing Valve does (or doesn't do) regarding skins can ruin your day.
@@kacidyYeah, I just bought some skins to play with and never opened cases. If some new skin is better than the current one and isn't prohibitively expensive, I can just sell the current skin and buy new ones. Money mostly kept.
underground deal with nvidia to sell overpriced scalped graphics cards, just to play at 300fps, the smokes being shootable was not worth complete garbage unoptimized game
I think CO and CS2 both should have an option in the menu to disable skins, stickers, nametags, each of them same as you can disable enemy team chat/pfps/voice chat etc. Let people choose for their own gaming experience. With a lot of the low-IQ sticker crafts these days streamers need to be careful to avoid getting a twitch ban. Its a problem anyways, more choice for players is always the solution.
What do YOU guys think about the situation?
Where's the big updateee??
If not this week then I’m sure it’s soon, trains gotta be added because it’s already in the pro map pool.

People act like Valve is different but they're just another giant mega rich company. They do what they want with no explanations.
We act like it’s different because we (the community) built Valve and steam into what it is today.

i bet that they know the issues of cs2 and dont want the playerbase to seperate again
Yeah I know my friends and I would play GO if we could play matchmaking on it again.

they know that cs2 is completely broken so they don't dare to allow a competitor that actually works lmao

They don't let it launch for the same reason they didn't let CSGO play it. People would realize even more how bad CS2 is. A MOD by Garrys Mod.
