    Rolling Stock: Alstom = PL42AC Locomotives #4029, #4031, #4008, and #4009; ALP-45A Locomotive #4552; NJT and MNCR Comet V Coaches and Cab Cars. Bombardier = ALP-45DP Locomotive #4520, ALP-45A Locomotive #4537, Multilevel Coaches and Cab Cars. EMD = MNCR GP40FH-2 Locomotive #4901, Norfolk Southern GP38-2 Locomotives #5621 and #5279. General Electric = AC44C6M Locomotives #4272 and #4296.
Even though Train #65 normally runs with an MNCR set, today was not the case because prior to departure on Train #1165, the original set with F40PH-3C #4912 was experiencing some kind of mechanical issue, so it ended up taking Train #1221's set, hence the NJT equipment.
Compared to previous days that I have filmed on the Main/Bergen County Line, I am surprised that there were so many PL42ACs out and about on the line, especially since a decent chunk of them are no longer in passenger service. At @10:10, you can see how quickly the smoke shoots out from the top of PL42AC #4008. Compared to the rest of the diesel fleet, the PL42ACs tend to expel the exhaust in immense levels and since it was 40 degrees outside, that assisted with providing a nice shot.
Normally, on the Main Line/Bergen County Line (Port Jervis Line is included in both), there are two three-car MNCR sets that run on Port Jervis trains. One set strictly does Port Jervis Line trains while the other runs between Suffern and Hoboken in addition to Port Jervis, shifting from its previous role from doing a run to Summit before returning to Port Jervis late at night. Based on what is required, the set with GP40FH-2 #4901 leading will either run on Train #1175 or Train #1129 before deadheading back to Hoboken and finishing off with a run on Train #41 to Port Jervis.
Even with a smaller amount of EMD engines as the PM Rush Hour period elapses, there is a decent assortment of engines and at least it beats filming nothing but ALP-45DPs/45As. Overall, I would be willing to return to Ramsey-Main Street either at an earlier point in the day or at some point within the summer since the summertime shots would look awesome.
With that being said, the video pretty much speaks for itself, so I will shut the hell up and continue letting you enjoy the fire content ha ha!
