Ok, so did I get this right. I need to pay the $54 a month for the standard google cloud platform to get the free $300/month google maps api usage??? (Or close the website after the 90 days trial.)
This is still confusing to me. Some things are not clear: - The "free trial" takes place immediately after you sign up? If so, there's no way to just use the "free tier" and save your free trial for later, right? - After the free trial expires, you can use the free tier ONLY if you upgrade to a paid account? It seems to be the case, based on what is said at 3:00.

@@One.Zero.One101 Tell you what, Google has removed these two lines from their Compute Engine section. They were: Google Cloud Free Tier does not include external IP addresses. And Compute Engine offers discounts for sustained use of virtual machines. Your Free Tier use doesn't factor into sustained use. Google is really manipulative with Google Cloud Platform and I really do not like the way they have designed this free tier.
Can i comercialize out puts of always free platform.... Example: If i use text to speach of always free...can i use that audio in youtube video and monotize that video?

Do I need a credit card to sign up for free trial/free tier. If I have to give my credit card info, I don't consider it truly free. I am here to try and learn and not to use professioanlly.

@@wtfvxpe The point of the free trial is to have a good impression on the consumer to actually purchase in the future so having your card connected would be better. But most importantly, if it were captchas all their servers would be used as it would be too easy to abuse the trial hence why using a card who is connected legally to a person is a much better way for verification.
Once the trial is over (out of credits or 12 months are over, whichever comes first), all resources are stopped and you have 30 days to upgrade to a paid account and retain all your projects and data. See cloud.google.com/free/docs/gcp-free-tier#end for details

That's the whole point, to keep the user confused. These are all smokescreens to charge your credit card as you cannot sign up without one.
