I'm saddened by its history. It was an honest effort plagued by good intentions and dishonest efforts. It's good to see that the improvements were not wasted and it's serving faithfully. Be safe.
@nugget244 no I’m not an internet expert, but believe it or not, information on how to handle a firearm safely isn’t exclusive to the British army. He would have been taught these basic principles during his weapons handling training.
@@dannymjcr you should always keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction and never point your gun at anything you dont intend to shoot and treat every gun as though they are loaded. You learn this in basic training mate
@@Calle2433brother there is no other way to show this procedure without flagging. It is purely the camera man’s positioning at fault. During this nsp this soldier did it right. Down to movement and gun positioning for example you can see him check the chamber, this is the correct way to do it and this is the way that is taught. I understand the training of “treat every firearm like it’s loaded” which is clearly communicated to every soldier upon basic, however the camera man is at fault, he could’ve stood to the side and the soldier was probably told to show this exercise in which he wouldn’t decline. Hope this clears it up. And the firearm was not loaded.
The gun was also on safety which can be verbally heard. Just trying to explain that this soldier holding the rifle has a lot of experience and is clearly capable of understanding basic gun safety. You can tell by his comfortability and speed of the check. Also I don’t know you’re experience and wouldn’t assume but do you or have you served? Thanks
Is that a safe direction that youre pointing it towards? Looks remarkably like a road and theres a few people in earshot somewhere to the side of or behind the camera
the rifle is beutifall, used it once when i was in a cadet trip and convrted to hating it, the amaricans where right brits, listen to them bull pumps are not the best
Correct ! It's a terrible weapon!! No one will admit it !! Just throw wasted money at it over the years ! To improve it ! I don't know if they have been improved TBH !! I haven't handled one since 2010 !

Rubbish gun
I'd adopt the M4 platform rifle
It’s not a gun it’s a rifle
There are plans to change to the Knights Stoner (L40A1) but it's still in its testing phase I think and as of right now is with the Royal Marines
This is one of those "Tell me you _______ without telling me you _______" moments.
Just the Royal Marines and Rangers for now
junk
Super gay
Yeah let's just point a loaded weapon directly at people before clearing it right? Is that how your instructors taught you to do this?
It's not loaded you silly goose!
@@NorthernMouse52 what's the first rule of weapons safety my guy
@Rodent051 you always treat weapons as if they were loaded. Even if you just cleared it. This is how you never accidentally shoot someone

@ThemoonsFullofgoons-qn9xl doubt it. I trained with the royal Marines and you brits can't do shit right.
