I'd argue it's actually better than Lionheart, due to having more range, having excellent combo utility, and trading just a bit of DPS for lower cost and higher range. But oh well, it's very impressive how it went from considered mediocre, to having arguably the best combo in the game, as well as a good specialist value.
I put Lionheart above because of better nuking power, niche compatibility, and has talents. Once Diabolosa gets talents then it’s very likely he will be considered better than Lionheart.

Don’t forget that unlike lionheart, Diablosa has 3 targets. And he is exceptionally good against angels like Wingged piggie, boraphem, and even angelic gory rushes if you can keep them back for long enough

In my opinion, Diaboloza has saved me many Games, it was the first anti-aku I had and it did not disappoint

Yeah as my first aku I started using him and got him to level 30 very quickly and oh boy he went to work and just destroyed everything and I used him before his true form as a backliner because I only had super galaxy cosmo pre truForm and oh boy galaxy cosmo dps didn’t work but his DPS worked and got me through aku realms except for mexico for obvious reasons. Then once he got his true form I ran to get all the Materials to get him and beating levels I never could doing the horrible thing of spending cat food to be able to get him and then beat aku realm. Also yes I do understand his speed is atrocious but at least for me it wasn’t bad as I found his speed to beneficial as a my load out was always slow and b it worked if you planned out for zombie level that you sent a good amount of units to try to bat out the zombies and make them burrow and you use him as someone to protect the base or to clean up the zombies that can no longer burrow and because of his speed most of the time he almost never got into trouble except from the zombie seal but tend to end up burrowing a little in front of him being obliterated. He also was my first unit to hit level 50. Now if and or when he gets a true form there are 3 thing if they gave to him would make him a even better unit. The 3 things are immune to curse immune to weaken and soul strike. If he was given these he would dominate as winged piggy if She got close enough to him and many other Enemies with weaken would not effect him. Curse because obvious and soul strike to truly clean up the zombies that were not z killed to be just no longer be a factor. If there was like one more thing I could give him and a thing to replace is maybe target relic but idk how well that would go and instead of something to make his attack stat better a speed up as I do understand that is a very off putting thing so him being a bit faster would help him but could also Hurt him

@@vtgalover8213 I actually went on a debate on who was the most underrated Uber, it was between Garu (my opponent) and Pre True form diablosa (my pick) I decided that Garu had it worse only because he was a fest Uber and I wasn’t talking about true form diablosa either, if it wasn’t for that, I would’ve thought that Dia would’ve been more underapreciated.

Iron legion is my favorite I mean who doesnt love cats in Metal slug machine and the best part is all the machine are controlled by the same team include the Eyepatch, Commander in MOUSTACHE, and the favorite duo Chef and Chonker

The slow speed that Diablolaza has a silver lining to it most aku and angel enemies have a high amount of speed that quality can be used to lure the speedy akus and Angels into his range and smoke them while being safe from the slower,more aggressive ones
He is also good against Jegando before tf!

Diabolosa TF definitely solidifies this 5 unit combo as the best one yet.

Overall a very good true form with an amazing cat combo. Guess I'll will unlock the true form this unit. Also, I just hope this guy gets shield piercing, surge immune/surge resist or tough for talents. Well I can say this unit is much better than Cyclops.
It would be crazy to think that one combo makes an above average backliner unit into something on par with Rekon
This has to be one of the most epic true forms.
My first reaction with the uber was "yay, something to use against henry" (cuz i dont have many options anyways) but then i saw that combo and holy sheet, some stages get trashed when i use pork and rice + cheating heart and now this, dear god, throwing buffed couriers are really fun and also, manic flying have another combo that its masive dmg up, that means that cats like courier, fishman or jizo will be even more buffed
This man was the only damager I needed to defeat the aku ciclone
All of the iron legion are slow but they are all anti zombie and zombies can burrow which if the unite is slowwer than the meatshields means if the zombie pops out it'll be most likely in front of the unit who will deal a lot of dps to the zombie

Also, Its a Combo, One a unit WHO IS A *DECENTLY* FUNCTIONAL GENERALIST.
The low cost mostly carries it in that regard. But its not like 5.6k DPS is low.
So its only like a 1.5 Unit combo
Most combos need a bunch of useless units to work, When I run Biobone combo-pair, I don't even want to run any of those 3 most of the time,
If I had this guy, I would actually have some use with a cheap, albiet unspecacular backliner
should I true form this guy just for the combo? i already have lucifer and sarukani and other good anti zombie/aku/angels, so his true form wouldn’t provide much other value besides the combo
A bit late but do it. He himself is a competent attacker and even if you don't use him if you have the slots to spare the %15 boost is great. It is also useful in 4 crown stages, as you tend to have slots to spare there
Diabolosa rivals amakusa as the best anti-aku nuker (excluding lilin). One pet peeve I have is is sluggishness compared to amakusa and lack of surge immune, but Diabolosa has his own perks.
For now I'd still say Lucifer is better than those two.
But speaking of Nuker? Yeah no Amakusa is still a bit better

I think if you combine the combo with Independence Day or perhaps another 3 slot damage boost combo you could potentially get a 25% damage boost. Which is a lot to say the least.
No but you can do diabolosa+manic flying+ flying+li'll flying and you get +25 attack and 10% DMG from diabolosa which sound crazy

Everything gets a true form nowersays
Actually, 2 attack up small combos doesn't give a 20% boost in stats, it gives a 21% boost in stats. It doesn't apply 2 10% boosts, it applies a 10% boost twice. The first combo applies a 10% boost, which makes it go to 110% attack power, then the second one applies 10% *to* the 110%. 10% of 110% is 11%, so 110% + 11% is 121%. This also applies to the medium and small combo, it doesn't add up to 125%, it actually adds up to 126.5%, which I'm assuming gets rounded down to 126%.
No it doesn’t, effects of combos are added linearly, so 2(s) attack up combos providing a 10% attack increase each would cause the final damage to be 120% of the original, not 1.1x1.1=121%
