- Ninja Kiwi has released a ton of Bloons Games over the last 15+ years, and they can't all be as popular as BTD6. In fact, even when the Bloons Tower Defense series had already begun, NK was still releasing strange spin-off games that would never see a sequel be made. In today's video, I'm here to explore a few of those games, and see whether or not they're still worth playing in 2024.

There was also a mobile version of hot air bloon! Apparently an evil monkey with a blimp of his own stole a monkey's fiance and now he's on an adventure to rescue her. There were different level themes, bosses, and an ok story
I've heard it's lost media now but I'd definitely be interested in trying it if that's ever possible
I made a video a couple years ago talking about how far ahead of time Bloons TD 3 was, and I really like seeing the perspective being seen on some lesser known games like these!
That's really cool that you made a video like that, and I appreciate you watching this one!
The first game implies the moabs are actually a neutral force or are split into 2 separate countries, each working for separate sides.
Exactly lol, makes me interested in a BTD Lore video
@@Phenomix yeah like, did ballonchippers make their own country after apparently going rouge? Or are they helping the balloons? Or both? Or did they just abandon the war but didn't leave the monkey country/ countries?
I always just thought the monkey hijacked it.
@@metal_pipe9764Pretty sure bloonchipper was just put out of service based off the map junkyard
@@khilo705 nah
I love the Bloon Supermonkey games. Played the BSM2 Flash version so much when I was younger, and even 100% the BSM2 mobile version.
I had a lot of fun with the first one I imagine the second must be really awesome
@@Phenomix The first one is definitely the weakest of the games imo, but still very good compared to most of the games NK made at that time.
BSM 2, Flash and Mobile Edition are a huge improvement and do away with the arcade-style and go for a more completionist-centric approach, allowing you to go back to older levels, which I think makes the game a lot more interesting.
The ninja kiwi archive is a gold mine for confusing games
Definitely is lol
I wonder what would happen if the current meta of ninja kiwi never happened.
I'm thinking they wouldn't have made it too far honestly
📉
That super monkey game is really cool to me
Definitely was my favorite by far of the 3
Mostly great collection. (Missing games btd5 deluxe, bloonare) And outside of the collection (bloons festive, bloons port including iOS, PSP, DSI, TD (3) iOS PSP DSI ports hot air bloons mobile , btd4 Android, iOS, HD and PSP DSI)
2:40 Back when popcap didnt suck…
I am shockingly early, gonna watch this as soon as possible!
I really appreciate you being here early!
@@Phenomix No problem dude! You’re crazy underrated, I’m sure you’ll be a big RUclipsr soon!
2 hours is pretty early
There are a hot air bloons mobile but it became lost media
I think I remember seeing that in the crazy Bloons Documentary that OrangE made
@@Phenomix you did
Will you do sas zombie???
That could definitely be interesting to try sometime, could be called like "Trying Ninja Kiwi's Other Series"
@@PhenomixIf you're trying NK's other games, I also recommend trying the Meeblings duology
Meagan the fox is pretty addictive
W vid
On this game do the no bloon challenge but its almost impossible so try get a little bloons.
How would that work? Are you talking about the first game specifically?
Yea
Hot Air Bloon Mobile is even weirder, it has a full-on story with bosses AND a plot twist ending (will not spoil)!
I thought that wasn't playable, it's still available somewhere?
@@Phenomix It isn't available officially, but the .ipa for it is up on Internet Archive. You'll have to get an old jailbroken iPhone to download it though
@@Phenomixoh there's a archive that has its iOS APK file plus for the versions of 3,4 and bloons festive and ports of 1
I just can't play them. No iOS device (doesn't include the DSI and PSP versions) . But I grabbed a sampling of them (one version from each)
Hey, I finally got 10 subs, but I'm not trying to brag.
Anyway, great video!
In all seriousness I only had 50 subs a few months ago and then the algorithm picked my channel up. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video!
nah the wierdest is bloons pop 3
Yeah that one felt the least like a Bloons Game
In the old times, ninja kiwi considered bloons as a franchise, trying alot of new things. I mean they still do but not as much
Bloons supermonkey? I used to play that game so much on my little iphone, it was awesome spending hours and devolping the perfect strategy
Sounds like fun for sure! What was the best score you got if you happen to remember?
