- The title of this piece is Chaos. It's kind of reminiscent of my week (chaotic). I'm back in the tech job market - it's overwhelming. I've already declined several opportunities because I'm prioritizing the right fit over the convenient one. I want to save my energy and effort for companies doing work I'm truly interested in. Wish me luck and enjoy your weekend! 🖤
Suminagashi (墨流し), often translated to "floating ink," is the ancient Japanese marbling technique. For me, it is art therapy.
🤍 MATERIALS
+ brushes: yasutomo all-purpose brush

Blowing on the water was such a cool effect. I love it!
Tysm! I was nervous I'd blow it a little too much. 😅

you should try with a fan on, the waves become more and more chaotic! 👏👏
haha! So true. Maybe I should sit under my air conditioner next time it comes on. 😂
Captivating and beautiful, it looks like such a pleasant experience and the paper created would make the most beautiful prints or book covers! What kind of ink do you use?
Thank you so much! I use Yasutomo's black sumi ink. 😊
