This song was a weird one to write, because I wrote it while dreaming. In the dream, I wrote the whole song. I woke up at 4am and rolled over and jotted it down as fast as I could because I didn't want to forget it. The next day I put it to guitar and this is the final product.
It's a bit frank, but it's also got some metaphor and hidden meaning. I hope you like it. It's also got some coming of age and comfortable/safe growth vibes in addition to typical love song stuff.

Haha thanks!! And because we all have them and being afraid of them and burying them doesn’t help anyone heal and grow to deeper levels of being. The way my man has improved and grown and lived deeper and fuller after confiding feelings to me is huge. It’s made him a better man, friend, partner, and I can tell it will make him a better father someday. Men are socialized to stamp out feelings and do everything they can to avoid facing them and feeling them, and I find that heartbreaking and unfair.
Any tips for learning to sing and play guitar…
I’m a beginner in both areas without a lot of money but I am motivated to learn and need some cost effective ways to do so!
