Because it hasn't been used much ie ultra low mileage think the emulsion tubes & well had issues ok. Great work thinking it through. Air screws out and flood it out should sort it out. Ride steady and stay safe bud 🤟
Interesting vids -- very useful. I've just bought a 2006 model that needs tidying up. Are you supposed to remove the tank completely when you change the spark plugs? I tried to do it by setting the tank back without disconnecting it and broke the fuel lines. And do you know if Castrol Power 1 is a good oil for this bike? Appreciate any advice.
Er5 I bought one in 2012 the worst bike I’ve ever owned in 40 years of motorcycling it’s broken down and had more money spent On it in repairs than all my other bikes put together the minute you think it’s ok it will break down again mines never been ok for more than six months then it breaks down again it’s now broken down yet again not wasting any more time or money on it selling it as a non runner To anyone thinking of buying one don’t or if you do make sure you have break down cover and bus fare home
How true bought a really clean 1997 one in June this year with 23000 mile have had nothing but trouble with it I'm to am going to sale it with a big loss
Nice Vid Nat,looks lovely in the sun, that colour is something else.
Looks great doesn’t it!
Brilliant video mate 👏
Cheers pal. Let’s just see if it holds and starts in a couple of days!
Wow, I've never known how to set the float heights. Great to see Nat
It’s certainly a way to do it. I am not sure if it is the way but it seems to work buddy.

The tax disc emblem/ signature is a nicet touch Nat. Not too in your face and as you said not everyone would want a painted motif.
Thanks mate. That was my thinking.
how did you do that textured paint job?
A different bike of mine but the Sam process: ruclips.net/video/yzHhykkY5HM/видео.html
I'm scared to rub mine down lol. Would just compound do anything? Or even 2500 grit and compound or should I just follow the process?
A higher grit is absolutely fine mate. It will just take longer to get rid of the orange peel.
I wonder if something inside the airbox wasn't right? Did you open it up at all Nat
Yes mate. It was fine.
KNACKERS.... as in KNACKERED..... or is there another meaning ie, 'Nackers' ?
Yes but as it knackers yard, where horses went!

Weird how sometimes there are just lemons. Other people have had them for years without dramas.

Pain in the arse!
