As a Rockies fan, I am fine with them not trading story. Just look at the comparable deals that were made in Biaz and Bryant. A late 1st round comp pick could very well have been better than what they were offered for Story without having to add another player.
I hear all about it being a rockies fan and having a father who works for them. I personally think we should've traded him, especially because we not only don't have money but we have zero pitching

2001, 2004-3rd
Yep, had a good run in 2003, I agree.
But in 2007,08 got swept in NLDS both times. So I guess you could say competing since they did make the post season, but it didn't go too well.
So in all, I'd say 1 really good season, and 2 decent ones
