While I loved Clayton Moore’s Lone Ranger, I also appreciated John Hart’s portrayal as well. They both did a great job, though Mr. Moore will always be the Lone Ranger to me.
I agree that Mr Hart did a good job as the Lone Ranger, but the kids were too smart and realized they had pulled a switch. Leaving Clayton Moore in the opening and closing was a mistake. The children could tell that Hart was not Moore by the voice. Wrather mistakenly thought that the Lone Ranger was embodied in the mask.
