I think this is going to be a cab I have to get after my vacation this year. Especially with that hack. Awesome video, as always.
I just want to reiterate that anyone can get hylox themselves for free with a lil bit of google-fu and a spare usb stick but regardless of that I’m glad your enjoying your new cab man!

I like that you can keep the original system with this hylox usb. Although it doesn’t look like they’ve added a fast skip button or a favourites list which would have been good
Have you noticed on the main panel the ‘select game’ buttons only function is to add coins? U can’t even select a game with it, so think I’ll re label it, other than that this machine is great
Great vid. I was able to set up some of those games up for free but the free hacks are nothing less than cumbersome. They take care of the menu navigation which is the major issue I have with the free hacks. $80 is definitely worth it.

I know im late to all this, is there a game list posted anywhere? My a1up mk cab just died so i was hoping to get thay back going this route as well as mvc. Im looking to do a multicade imstead of a bunchbif a1us.
There isn’t a game list, but I went over a majority of the games in the video. It’s well worth the money you can do this for free but I just paid for it on eBay for like $65.
The Hylox hack is great. Why couldn't you get it without paying 80 bucks though, I thought you were in IT? I don't encourage paying for work that was done for free but glad you got all the games. I am curious how the emulation runs on a few games but can you check one and let me know, its called Turf Masters, its an excellent golf game, my emulation of it has audio stuttering when putting,
For sue lol definitely check for you! I don’t really have a running computer to do the hack at this time my toddlers broke the keyboard and mouse 🤣 so I just ended up paying for the stick making it much easier at the time for me. For example I know how to change my own oil on my car but I’d rather pay for the dealership to do it for me. But I will definitely check out that game later tonight and get back to you I work all day today.

@@TheCornerCade Thats great news, its a great golf game, Neo Geo games are some of my favorites to play on the ALU, you have alot of other great sports titles on there, breakers revenge, windjammers, ect.
Unfortunately sounds like you are missing some sample sounds. Jump man should make a sound when he runs in Donkey Kong. Seems like a solid upgrade though

Hey I looked it up. Sounds like you have an old version.

I bought this cheap ass usb stick off the same dude.. first one they sent wouldn’t read in my machine.. the second worked for a couple months before starting to glitch out and now doesn’t work anymore.. waste of money
Did you plug it into the PCB or the back of the machine?
@@TheCornerCade I plugged it in the pcb.. worked fine for awhile but then started getting missing menu artwork for the games, fatal fury 2 was all glitched out.. factory reset my machine and tried to reload the update but won’t update now

Do you have the same issue of games not allowing continues? Final Fight and Captain Commando doesnt allow continues. You get one life, and after you die...game over.
