I love this video ! After watching it for the tenth time, it occurred to me that if you put the leaves in the book in the reverse order (starting from back to front) you wouldn’t have to turn the pages with the leaves in them. No leaves shifting when you turn the pages! You may have done it this way for the sounds but thought I would mention it for next time! Thanks for sharing your talents!

It does indeed, Carol! For myself, I don’t think about it or dwell on it much. I rarely think of my grandmothers except when I am forced to do so. But every once in a while I do when I wonder about whether I’m being a grandmother worth remembering.

I’m sure someone said (or maybe you say later in the video but I haven’t finished yet) but those leaves you were curious about are ginkgo leaves. My grandmother, who sadly passed before Thanksgiving this year, LOVED them. I keep two dried ones because of her.

Anyways I tried looking for that laminating paper you mentioned on Amazon and had a question. Is the paper you use the same as one would use with a laminator and you just use an iron? Or is there a specific kind to purchase just for use with the iron? 🍂🍂🍁🍁🍂🍁🐿️🐿️🐿️🍁🍂🐿️🐿️
I think the laminating pages that I used are the kind that go through a machine. It doesn’t really matter as long as it’s laminating paper and your leaves can fit inside. An iron works on any laminating paper. I hope that you watched to the end because that is where I share in the way I decorated with these leaves that I made.
