The battery SIZES are 40 and 60 kilowatt-hours. That’s a measurement of energy storage, nothing to do with the motor’s power.

Today in Houston I went to a dealership. $39.6K MSRP for a new 2024. Non negotiable. And there was a $5859 list of non negotiable add ons. The InterWeb said the car has been there 6 months. I laughed out loud in the sales managers face and left dancing while holding up my check book over my head.
Let the car rust one the lot.
    😁

1 pedal braking doesn't mean the car doesn't have standard brakes. It simply means the accelerator pedal acts as a multifunction pedal initiating braking at a certain letoff point first with the engine then with actual brake pads. Leaf brake pads are supposed to last on average 50k miles before needing replacement of pads and maybe rotors etc.

Thanks for the nice review. When using the 1 pedal drive feature do the brake lights come on when you take your foot off the accelerator? I would be worried about getting rear ended if there was no warning to the vehicle trailing behind me.

After all these years, they are still using passive cooling for their batteries. I own a 2022 Leaf that I only use around town. If I venture out and need to charge, the time it takes to charge will gratefully increase because of the hotter temperature of the battery. Proper cooling management will decrease charging time, and reduce the risk of premature battery degradation. This is a huge failure on Nissan’s part.
