These historic brawl videos are by far my favorite videos. I watch most of the standard videos, but these are the ones I always look forward to the most.
River's Rebuke is such a satisfying card on a big board. My favorite thing to do is to cast it with leyline of anticipation, on my opponent's turn, after they've unloaded their hand. Just such a fun "pick it all up!" moment
8:30 It makes it very clear when the student cost is paid, but not so clear when it isn't paid, because it doesn't say one way or the other. But for future reference, you can tell that student cost is paid because it'll say "Student Cost Paid" in blue text at the top of the card's text box.
For anyone wondering : in the last game metamorph would have entered the battlefield as a copy of Urza because copy effects are on first layer, and apply before any other effect (like witness protection).
I can't believe people complain about the paradox engine. I say play it until they ban it. Also, I don't see anyone complaining about sundering titan, that card is banned in commander and no words of it otherwise.
I know it's late. Just wanna say thank you for the infinite combo Paradox Engine, Power Nine, extra turns, Hedron Archive with Emry game I just had that went on for almost an hour because my opponent wouldn't quit...until I busted out Timetwister to do it all over again lol

It’s not banned in this format and is strong. Until it’s banned it’s smart to put it in your deck if you like winning. That’s a good reason to ban it by the way but until then 🤷🏻♀️
He doesn't play Draft at all, neither Best of 3. For Draft / Limited check out the Nizzahon channel; he may not be be best player in skill level but his analysis of the set and the Draft is the best one you can find on RUclips. You can see tons of people thanking in comments for learning to draft through him (myself included, I would not have a collection to play Constructed the size I have if it wasn't for that).
It's just that paradox engine wins are boring to watch... So when watching you, it's not good content. Sure it's a good wincon but god is it repetitive when the deck is built around it.
