At least in this he get screentime at the beginning of every adlibs... not like in the show, where he was laterally edited out.

@@DMAart It's like these people have never watched a k-pop live performance before... In BP, I do think Jay's screentime was robbed, however here MCountdown is just doing what they always do. Whenever a main vocalist is popping off, they rarely keep the camera focused solely on that one person for the whole duration of their part, especially if the adlibs/ lines take up a significant portion of the song. The main vocalist normally has the most lines in the group, if screentime was also distributed based on the number of lines then it would be unfair to the other members...

Jay, khan jui and woongki in general on the show it feels like they really were a bit hidden when they have so many skills and how much they did behind the scenes for some of them.. like woongki not getting number one for “feel special” will never not piss me off… just as much as jay being 5th here… but these three really have some exceptional talents, work hard and don’t always get the credit they deserve … especially kuan jui… I didn’t even know he was a dancer until he did butterfly and I was speechless… watched his part so many times it’s ridiculous …. But yeh this show was cool but really didn’t feel like it was exactly fair and possibly a bit corrupt… but hopefully these guys find their way onto the stage where they belong

As a fan of Kuan Rui, I am really happy to see him and his teammates win first place in the artist duel and perform Over Me on the stage of M Countdown. Facing the fate of being eliminated and not being able to participate in the finals makes me feel pity. Obviously, since the beginning, Kuan Rui has been a gentle, kind, and steady existence. He showed a good listener and participant in the team, allowing himself and his teammates to improve together.
However, the reality is very helpless. I don’t know if it’s because MNET is too afraid of Kuan Rui’s superb dancing skills or because they want to keep the opportunity for Korean trainees to make their debut. I think Kuan Rui will have a high possibility of becoming the only one in the team to be the eliminator who will be eliminated in the third round. Such a decision really wasted all the hard work Kuan Rui put in on the show and the fans who worked hard to support his dream.
I think MNET should reconsider the consequences of eliminating all foreign trainees who put in countless efforts like Kuan Rui but were unfortunately eliminated. This not only broke the beginning promise of "creating a fifth-generation new boy group composed of half-foreigner, half-Korean trainees", it also wiped out the hopes of these countless boys. Whether it's evil editing or just a few sporadic clips, it will cause a certain amount of psychological damage to a person who goes to a foreign country and works hard for his dream. Whether it is a Korean trainee or a foreign trainee today, they will definitely not like being eliminated after putting in so much effort for their dreams. This is not a good result (although I have a hunch that it will happen no matter what), I hope MNET can improve this situation next time, and stop sacrificing countless trainees who are working hard for their dreams anymore.
