So Islam believes that Muhammad was the last prophet from God? And I am not an expert obviously on the Quran… I have read some of it, i downloaded it a while back on my kindle.
But anyway, Muhammad had a 6 year old betrothed to him and he consummated their marriage when she was 9 years old, I even respectfully looked her name up: Aisha.
Now, I know the defence is that it was a different world to now and so on, but actually Muhammad in this theory was telling people what God said was good and bad.
When we see children today, and children who are forced into marriages, who are sexually assaulted, raped and so on we see the negative consequences and the impact it has on a child’s mental health, their psychological well-being and even in the future the potential to ruin a healthy sexual relationship with future partners.
Not to mention the life endangering risks associated with children giving birth to both mother and baby.
So you either take from that that God is happy to see children exploited in such a way? And what kind of God would that be to believe that it’s acceptable to do such things?
Or Muhammad never really was a prophet from God because his teachings from God were supposed to tell everyone how to behave when he was clearly doing something depraved himself?
I think if religion brings people comfort then fair enough. And maybe Pearl could have worded herself in a more generous way but her question was valid.
But you don’t learn morals from religion. You learn morals from your parents and surrounding family members. And then you step into the world and you get some people that will take from society and some that give back.
The most humbling moments in my life have oddly been through work when I’ve being holding people’s hands in their final minutes, reading to them or washing the body that remains after someone has passed before they are taken to the funeral home.
I know some people will take offence with this post and I don’t mean it to be offensive… when I decided to explore religion and where I stood on my own spirituality level because I do believe there is something more to life but even the bible confused me in the first chapter in proclaiming that God made the earth and all living things on it in 6 days and rested on the 7th. But we know that’s not what happened when we dig into the earth and explore our history.
Sometimes I think that if there is a meaning to life that what we have all done is actually cover it up with the construction of civilisations, religions, money and so on.

They lower the status of Jesus, so Muhammad can be held to the same (if not higher) status.
Let's bear in mind though, Jesus lived and died with NO sin, never took any wives and died for us completely pure.
Muhammad, on the other hand, had 13 wives when you're only allowed 4 in Islam; and one of those wives was 9 years old.

I believe that this is the unspoken but TRUE Shahada. This Shahada is to either reject or silently bear witness that "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah who (given by Allah the strength of 30 men) married a 6 year old and entered her as a prepubercent 9 year old child still playing with dolls."

Just as the passerby in the METHAPHOR saves the young woman from nakedness, God saved Israel from shame in Egypt and made them his own people by making a covenant with them at Mt Sinai.
It is easy to see, through this metaphor, that to the true God of Israel only a PERVERTED and REPROBATE mind would accept a 54 year old man entering a 9 year old prepubescent child still playing with dolls, as a prophet of the God of Israel.

I watched Pearl's videos before. I invite her to read a book on the story of Prophet Muhammad saw. I believe from what I've seen of her she would cry at some point. Even non-Muslims praised our prophet during his life time up to the 21st century. ❤
