i just got one. the all black one. $110 in Canada on Amazon. so far i like it. I've used it for about 3 weeks . every other day. to shave my head. works well. I'm just hoping it lasts long term. time will tell.
Foil trimmers in general I cannot use because I can get bumps. I tell barbers right away to not use the foil trimmers on my head and neck. Babyliss foil shaver is no different, thank you for pointing it out. A double edge safety razor works well. It requires time to prep your face with exfoliation, a hot towel and pre-shave oil + lather, but you definitely get a close shave with less irritation. A beginner could buy a variety pack of blades and test which one works best for them. I currently use trimmers, but if you zero gap them they can potentially cut beneath the skin and cause bumps too.
I would like to know which razor you use that doesn't give you ingrown hairs and irritation if this foil shaver does. I might want to try that razor. I tried a DE razor a few times but I had to go back to foil shavers cause the razor gave me ingrown hairs on my neck. You might want to try the Braun Series 9 if you want an electric foil shaver. Although it won't be a close shave it won't cause ingrown hairs because it's very gentle even though it's fast.
Music in background is too distracting. Otherwise good video.
