This one involved a fair amount of research and archaeology 😉as I had to dig deep into the recesses of my memory bank to retrieve ND quotes and appropriate images; images that were present in my mind's eye. My hope is that the casual Neil Diamond fan would, hopefully, gain some insight into this complex, deep thinker; a man totally consumed by his music. Neil sure is a beautiful, caring human being. The impact that he has had on the lives of millions worldwide is, perhaps, even his comprehension. I know, for I am one.

I know you are correct, so I trust what you tell us. I am passionate about the Era and songs I love the most, as you know. The 60s and 70s are my favorite. My policy has always been/will always be to state *facts.* Facts generally from Neil himself, from interviews and other reliable sources. One reason why I left the various Neil Diamond fan clubs years back. Way too much navel gazing, assumptions, disagreements on their _"facts"_ etc.. Wasteful and time consuming. Not for me the solitary man. 😊

Thank you Debra. I concur. It was my intention, after this song broached my brain, to perhaps use it as a vehicle that would permit me utilise a host of Neil heartfelt quotes and also to showcase a handful of his gigantic songs, in the hope of enlightening those who do not fully appreciate the man.

Lovely. I've not heard this song before. I'm 80 and my daughter is 50. I shared it with her. She's also a Neil Diamond fan. We used to have Neil Diamond nights when we'd put his records on and enjoy. Keep it up Neil.

I can but only mirror my response to Louise Poole, that ... this one involved a fair amount of research and archaeology as I had to dig deep into the recesses of my memory bank to retrieve ND quotes and appropriate images; images that were present in my mind's eye. My hope is that the casual Neil Diamond fan would, hopefully, gain some insight into this complex, deep thinker; a man totally consumed by his music. Neil sure is a beautiful, caring human being. The impact that he has had on the lives of millions worldwide is, perhaps, even his comprehension.
