They have said that Mason is dead BUT they have specifically shown the cinematic that happens when we shoot Mason in the leg (this activates the ending of Mason alive)

I think the story is that Woods was the one shot in the knee in Panama. Why would Raul leave David alive if Mason was dead? He has no reason for it. And looking back at BO4 Woods told Mason that he was always the one in the box. It makes me wonder if the MK Ultra had a side affect of making you think you are someone else. Also, how did Woods get out after having his knees blown out? unless he never had them blown out and the MK Ultra told Mason that is what happened because they knew Woods wouldn't be walking after getting shot in the knee by Mason.

@Deathmare235 that's a good question, but Mason wasn't around for almost all of David's growing up. What if that was his suffering. He made Mason disappear (not sure how but it's just a hypothetical) and made David live thinking his dad was dead.

Alex Mason is Definitely Alive because in that Video about The Story So Far of Black Ops 6 they showed The Canon Version of What happened in 1989 and Mason Was Shot in The Leg Not The Head and There's No Bullet Wound in The Head so Alex Mason is Actually Alive in Black Ops 6 he Doesn't Appear in The Game Because he's in hiding.

I wonder if they're gonna tie in Project Janus with Advanced Technologies & Applications. I think it would be criminal for the events of that Emergence to not be real. Having actual zombies in the campaign as opposed to a hallucination has been a long time coming and would be huge.
That being said, it looks like this mission also features neurogas, which in multiplayer fucks with your vision and adds false pings to the minimap. That could easily be the reason all of this nonsense is happening.

I don't know if this is my eyes playing tricks on me, but I think woods was holding a Glock 17 in his hands when he's sitting in the wheelchair. If I am correct and we have the Glock in the game then I'm hoping that we have more than just that, we also get the Beretta M9 pistol as well, here's hoping that we get these type of weapons back in Black ops 6. Now I may be wrong which is okay but I'm hoping that not only do we get classic weapons back in Black ops 6 but the 12 new ones that we haven't seen before as well.
