Welcome onboard another lockdown escape in a Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft where the entire world is our oyster. Don't need to pack a suitcase or worry about getting to the airport, don't even need any tickets or passports. Sounds great doesn't it? Ok not as good as the real thing, but flight simulator does bring a certain level of reality to this sim experience. Today our journey in a Lufthansa A320 is from the regional German airport Paderborn - Lippstadt to George Best Belfast City Airport.
Paderborn airport from Aerosoft is a free scenery addon available from the simulation marketplace. The aircraft is the FlyByWire A32NX which features all the additional add-ons to the default version to make it a more immersive flight.
I'm also using the 'Pushback helper' which is a very useful addition making departures from gates so much easier.
Belfast City not only features the airport add-on scenery, but also the city itself.
