Dude he was terrible as Barnabas. Go watch Jonathan Frid play Barnabas and you will see what I mean
The movie was done as a parody of the show and of the character. Depp was not trying to be nor copy how Frid did the character as it was not a serious dramatic movie.

I think this is the greatest vampire movie ever created. It’s very therapeutic and immersive. The character influences your insecurities to flock away and be that Barnabas or Angel Bay that you fan over of. Very influential movie.

Im happy with my blu ray copy. 1080p is plenty for a dark movie like this.

Backing flops like Black Adam, Flash and Aquaman while trying to shelve other movies that would’ve made money. The DCEU is dead, they’ve lost filmmakers such as Christopher Nolan and lost Legendary Pictures and the Monsterverse. Dune Part 3 might be at Universal or Sony at this rate. Despite Barbie’s success.
And they managed to tank HBO Max through their idiocy. Renaming it so they wouldn’t have to pay residuals to their filmmakers and creatives. And much of their series are on other platforms.
