I thought I knew most of your fantastic garden but I've just noticed your hedgehog.could you please include a close-up next video?
Could you also give us a walkthrough the area where you have plants waiting to be used?

I really like the hardscaping you've done. That's something I've always struggled with. Noted that you don't seem to have an Ilex vomitoria in your collection. As America's only caffeine-producing plant, I think it'd fit right in with your collection of species not native to your area. Plus, you can make a very delicious cup of tea any time you want! How's that for a bargain?
I just put in three Ilex vomitoria "Pride of Houston", chosen because they grow tall and have nice legs if you limb them up. As an evergreen, they provide year-round interest, and you can get them in dwarf varieties that can be treated as you would a boxwood. I just found the Ilex vomitoria 'Eureka Gold" and think the lime green foliage would be very sharp somewhere in the yard if I can source one. Did I mention tea? It was actually used as a tea substitute back in the day when Britain was having a spot of bother with the upstart colonialists. The knowledge of it fell by the wayside, but some folks say that the East India Company spread vile lies about the plant (hence the latin derivation) to dissuade people from using it for tea and thus competing with their own brand. Tricky fellows, but no hard feelings! Something to keep your eye out for when you're browsing your local nurseries.

Very interesting, you've researched well. I'm very picky with choices. But thanks.

I am told euphorbia can be toxic to touch. How do you manage it.

If I'm taking cuttings, then I wear gloves, it's the sap that's the problem, it can be an irritant or burn your skin, don't let this put you off keeping them. There are lots of plants with problems, caution when handling is the key, and some people aren't affected at all while others can be.
