Camber Plates for more negative camber!

Let's install some Tarett camber plates for more negative camber on your Porsche! Bilstein coilovers didn't give me enough negative camber, so I installed these Tarett camber plates.

Great video, but I wanted to add some clarification. The diagram at the beginning indocates that negative camber increases under compression, when the opposite is true. Well, it goes negative for a little bit, but then starts to go positive with further compression which is why plates like this are used to dial in more static negative camber. The reason is that as the outer end of the LCA moves upward, it also moves inboard towards the center of the car pulling the bottom of the wheel in and increasing the positive camber.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, I understand your point and it makes sense to a degree (sorry for the pun). My observations have been that when lowering a car, the negative camber tends to increase which perhaps indicates that the offset created when shortening the strut length must be greater than that created by the swing arc of the LCA. I have no calculations or proof of this, just an observation. Cheers, James

Did you need to use camber plates in the rear or are you able to get the correct camber from the rear stock?

Just on the front. That's where all the scrubbing takes place. I've found that rear camber is adjustable enough.

Unfortunately, I crashed that car at the track. See video. Up until then, I had no noticeable issues.
