Just baffled as to why they don't simply make a DLC/expansion category instead. I get that there's some blurring of the lines in terms of sequels and DLC (SMTV:V comes to mind), but ultimately I think it's pretty easy to make a cut and dry distinction; if it requires me to first buy a separate base game then it shouldn't be considered for standalone GOTY.
The Topic of the Game Awards is just complicated. So, first of all, there actually wasn't a rule change, DLCs and Expansions were always elligible for all awards, they just clarified it this year because this is the first time the jury actually voted an Expansion into the highest category. But last year, Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty was nominated for best narrative, and in 2016, The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine won Best RPG (Which also had World of Warcraft Legion nominated, also an expansion), it just happens pretty rarely. I think the consensus should just be that there should be a seperate DLC/Expansion category and maybe give it as much importance as the Best Game Direction Award to have it stand alongside the GOTY Award, that would probably be the best solution here. But the category does not exist yet and if the entire jury voted for Elden Ring SotE, I guess it's.. fine. I definitely think it's important to discuss this and criticise it, but some of the extreme hate I see sometimes is also extremely stupid, especially when some of those people mock Balatros Nomination in the same breath as "Why is this Card Game nominated". I think the categories need some work in general, I also think there should be a seperate Best Lead Performance and Best Supporting Performance, having just 5 Spaces available for Actors, when there are SO. MANY. outstanding acting performances each year is just a bit sad. And yeah, some omissions are always frustrating, but I think they do at least a pretty decent job highlighting a variety of games each year.. with the exception of 2020 xD. Anyway, Lots of things to still criticise and improve about the Game Awards, but I still like them and think they have improved a lot since their first showings. I just REALLY hope they give the Developers their time on stage back this year, that was actually the most annoying thing last year.
I have grown very bitter towards the Game Awards since 2020... so it is very refreshing to hear someone talk about their issues in a rather tactful way. I'm also happy to hear that you like the GA's to this day... I wish I could myself...
Erdtree shouldn't have been eligible for nomination. If it were released standalone then fair enough but considering you need a game from two years ago and you also need to have met a certain criteria (beaten Mohg) in order to unlock the content then it's just taking up a spot that another game could've had. They should have a DLC/expansion category.
it's also not what i would enough content to be a sequel. just like the other big souls dlcs it adds a new area and toys to fight new bosses with. the fundamental combat is not any different
if Erdtree was a sequel it would be called too similar and wouldn’t have gotten the amazing scores it got, also to play it you have to finish Elden Ring so only the people who loved Elden Ring have played it, hence the amazing scores
So, Sony complains about Microsoft buying Activision-Blizzard. Then they decided to go after buying up Kadokawa, a Japanese company that is probably as large as ABK (even if they don't own as much specifically in terms of games). Yeah this is a double standard. We're seeing a video game Cold War style arms race happening in real time.
I think it's mostly Xbox gamers complaining about this because they are afraid they won't get games made by From Software. I would understand the anime community more than the gaming community.
It was pointed out by someone else but I'll reiterate, aquire may have developed some HD-2D games but they aren't owned by them. The Asano team is still in-house square enix, they just bring on other companies to help develop their own IPs and projects. This doesn't affect ownership, but yeah it may affect what companies Team Asano can go to for development support
Something most people are not talking about, but I wonder how P-Studios feels about not getting any recognition for their work whilst the ex-persona team (now studio zero) took all the nominations at the game awards with Metaphor. I feel like internally, that would discourage the team.
Balatro is this year’s indie darling that gets that GOTY nomination and Stellar Blade is too sexy for American journos. Kinda surprised Wukong got in, but it DID have a major presence at TGA 2023
i feel people have also forgotten that if sony buys kadokawa, the mystery dungeon series would be sony exclusive meaning no more pokemon mystery dungeon
The problem with Dragon's Dogma is that people haven't forgotten it. Whether or not it was justified, it got a lot of backlash for the micro transactions and the people who stuck with it will tell you the game drops in quality in the later half. It's funny, the biggest haters of it are the ones who were so hyped for it.
1:54 - free market capitalism tends towards monopolisation of industries (you can only have so much growth/competition when resources are inherently limited) x
I think if Kadokawa is acquired i think FromSoftware would only survive. However i think Acquire and Spike Chunsoft could become independent but its unlikely. The TGA are always fixed its more like the the Fomo awards i want to know who are actually on this committee
In my opinion DLCs shouldn't be able to get nominated in the same categories as regular games do. I have a simple and clear-cut reason for that: They are not their own product. In the example of Shadow of the Erdtree: I'm not able to play this creative work without also having to buy Elden Ring itself. So when Shadow of the Erdtree was released this year, you are either not able to play it or just as a "Elden Ring + Shadow of the Erdtree" kind of thing. This to me would mean, that the candidate to nominate would be exactly that: The main game + the DLC and then suddenly you can't nominate it anymore, because more than 50% of it was released back in 2022. The situation would be different for me, if Shadow of the Erdtree would have been released both as a DLC for Elden Ring and as a standalone title. The Xenoblade Chronicles 2 expansion Torna - The Golden Country would be a different matter because of this reasoning, as it was released as a standalone title (if I'm not mistaken). So to summarise my opinion: DLCs shouldn't be nominated in the same categories as full releases, if they are tied to another release, which usually is the case.
Castlevania Nocturne came out this year. Why isn't that in Best Adaptation? Granted, it wouldn't stand a chance against Arcane and Fallout but it was much better than the Knuckles show.
I don’t care if the elden ring DLC brought a new area and new mechanics. It’s still DLC that is locked behind and a part of an existing game that released before 2024. If it was also sold as a single thing like xenoblade chronicles 2 torna, then I would give the thumb up. Should not have been even considered in the first place and should have its own DLC/expansion category.
silly Ash, Geoff doesn't host these awards to Send messages to the industry, they are an advertising for "how good & totally not full of abuse & missmanagement" Triple A that's also why Nintendo is always getting relegated to the Kiddie corner & my guess that that most categories are the same 5 games because Geoff really is stepping on eggshells
It irritates me that there’s not a category like visual novel or narrative focused or something like that. I guess there’s not enough prominent games like that but Emio Smiling Man deserves to be recognized for having one of the best narratives I’ve ever seen in a video game
I really hope this doesnt happen because i think it would be really bad not just for games but really for anime mostly. Idk how anti monopoly laws are in japan if they even have any but like I would imagine there would be pushback from the government
From what I’ve read from ppl who play Souls games The Eldin ring dlc has requirements in the main game to even start so it shouldn’t be seen as separate from it. If Miles Morales required you to beat the original Spider-Man to play or TTOK Was a post-credits add-on for BOTW I’d feel the same I'm sure there are like a dozen games more deserving of that slot than a DLC so even if it doesn't win it still robs other games of their chance
Multiversus not only has been nominated twice, already won best fighting game in 2022! As a Beta!! You all are right that this jury doesn't play fighting games at all if Multiversus won over KOF XV.
I really disagree with the assumption that the rules were changed for Elden Ring. It’s more likely they reiterated the rules because they knew people would question why it was there. In 2016, Witcher’s DLC won the best RPG category (over Dark Souls!)
I know people are going to cheer for FromSoft and honestly if Microsoft was able to absorb ABK in the time it did I don't think this is actually much of a reach to begin with, but Sony effectively gets a whole monopoly on the anime industry if this happens and considering how stuff like Crunchyroll has been handled, there's a double edged sword to all this in a sense But you know, I'm in this for Bloodborne 2 and Bloodborne Kart so there's that too
Idk if this is true but there are rumors that Kadokawa was the one who approached Sony to buy them. The reason why is that Kakao (a Korean company) was gonna do a hostile takeover or something.
I like and still play Multiversus. I also like Rivals of Aether 2. As a Platform Fighter fan, I'm just happy that these games exist. I'd even include NASB2 as well.
Astro Bot, Balatro, FF7 Rebirth, and Metaphor are all nominations I agree with and I believe are deserving. Wukong and Elden Ring however I don't think should be there. No shade to Wukong as it's certainly a good game but I don't think it's GOTY nominee level, and Shadow of the Erdtree just shouldn't be there. Period. DLC should not be nominated for GOTY, especially if it requires playing another game to experience. One thing that wasn't brought up that I believe is worth noting, I believe Briana White as Aerith in FF7 Rebirth is the first time an actor for a dub has ever been nominated for Best Performance, which will hopefully set a new standard and allow actors for English dubs of originally non-English games to be nominated in the future as well, as there have been amazing performances from them in the past that have been snubbed.
They do a ton of work with the english cast so to me it doesn't feel like their just dubbing over japanese casts' performances. And with how non japanese the world of ff7 is it def feels like the en cast is the default pick kinda like mgs or kingdom hearts
Unicorn Overlord and Stellar Blade missing from a lot of awards is really surprising. Both were incredible games that i thought deserved more recognition
One thing I want to point out is that Sony acquiring Kadokawa would not be a monopoly over anime but, they would have a fair stronger position in producing an anime. When an anime gets made, there is a few organizations who form a group to fund the anime called the production committee. This is the group that appears in the last still or on the title drop in the opening. It is going to be typically be made up of the source material owner, the TV station or streaming service, a music company, a toy or merchandise manufacturer, maybe the game publisher and for the smallest piece of the pie, the animation studio. Sometimes, if the creator is big enough, their studio is also a part of the committee like Bird Studio (Akira Toriyama) or Lucky Land Communicattons (Hirohiko Araki) but, usually they are consulting through the source material owner. The splits are not equal with usually the TV station or music company providing the majority of funding and thus the biggest share of revenue. The thing Sony is acquiring with Kadokawa is mostly the source material owner. While the source material owner typically is not funding the most, they are still important in how the show can be used. By Sony owning both the music company and the source owner, they control the money and the material which means they get far more leverage. While Kadokawa isn't necessarily the biggest manga producer, (that would be Shueisha or Shogakukan), they do have enough of the big ones and many of the low budget trendy titles that this would squeeze a lot of anime studios which could mean worse rates, tighter schedules and scenarios where Sony gets defacto ownership of an anime studio's pipeline (ignoring the studios they would own). However, there are still enough companies in the anime sphere that would prevent a monopoly scenario, especial when the Shonen Jump series are mostly free either company. If they acquired Square Enix or Bandai Namco on top of that though, Sony would indeed be in a monopoly position with Square Enix's Gangan Comics/MangaUp covering enough marketshare in the source material side on the lower end market or Bandai Namco's merchandising in combination with Bandai Namco Filmworks (formerly Sunrise) becoming a massive anime studio fusion with A-1 Pictures/Cloverworks and Dogakobo that prevents other studios from competing except for the scraps Sony gives out.
I think a lof things said in this video ignores what I saw this year and I disagree with a lot of what was said. Still, I respect and appreciate the work snd sharing their ideas and views. My hot takes: John Eric Bentley was snubbed for a second time. His performance in both Remake and Rebirth deserved nominations. Rebirth deserves a nomination in Art Direction. It is a beautiful game and provides some story telling through the art in it.
Agreed like aerith's VA is good no doubt but characters like barret or even tifa had way more emotional scenes and wider performances. Hell redxiii should be up there this guy out here doing two seperate performances for a single character. If it doesn't music then this will just further prove how much of a sham and recency bias plays into these awards
Please tell me if I'm wrong but I don't see persona 3 reload mentioned at all in any of the lists, I feel like it deserves a nominee for best RPG and or Sound design
You say "snubs" but there can only be 6. The only surprise in the 6 nominations were Shadow of the Erdtree and Balatro. For both of those, you guys explained why they're there.
I think the game awards always tries to throw in one indie nomination. I don’t think that nomination will ever win, but they do always try to put one in. I don’t think there was one last year tho.
11:54 This. I could theoretically adjust to seeing “sequel worthy DLC” up for GotY, but when it’s so transparently biased to offer a second bite at the Apple to a game that practically pipelined to win it’s own year already, it reeks of favoritism.
-So the general thing for me is that The Game Awards needs to redo its categories and clearly its panel, bc both are clearly made up by/of people who don't know games forreal. -I also understand what you guys are saying about games that are released too late in the year getting snubbed but...that's just the way award shows work unfortunately. There HAS to be a cutoff date and unfortunately Brothership is right at a month before the awards. That's just too close to be seriously considered. -As far as the Elden Ring DLC of it all, I agree with many of the comments here and in the live audience that if the DLC requires purchasing and playing through the base game to access it it should not be nominated as its own thing. Put them in their own separate DLC category (maybe replace Game Direction with that lol) but not in any main categories.
If it can’t be bought and played separately from the base game, it shouldn’t be counted as a separate entry. Erdtree does not belong on the GotY list, at least not when pitted against 5 standalone games. Anyway I want Astro Bot to win to send a message, and it’s also the only one on that list that I’ve actually played (though I intend to get around to the rest of those except for Balatro; I hate deck-building games)
I hope it doesn't go through, but if it does somehow and Sony tries to shut down Acquire and Spike Chunsoft, I hope Nintendo would step in and snag those two up...
I hate to break this to you, but the reason Xenoblade 3 didn't get nominated last year is because nobody played it. Geoff didn't change the rules this year because he pretty much doesn't make any rules. He lets people vote how they want to vote. Phantom Liberty got nominated for Best Narrative last year.
I just realized something during the Best Fighting Game category. If Elden Ring DLC got nominated for GOTY then why didn't the Mortal Kombat 1 expansion get nominated for best fighting game? I don't say this as a fan of the game (I'm really not) or have even played the expansion. But I feel like it would be more deserving at getting another chance for best fighting game rather than Multiversus and the MvC collection. It'll probably still lose Tekken 8 but I just noticed, if DLC could get nominated for GOTY, then DLC should be nominated to other categories too.
It’s not a big blow to Nintendo if Sony buys kadokawa because Nintendo is rapidly expanding anyway, so they aren’t as reliant on third-party development as they used to
24:19 Zenless Zone Zero is a game for wannabe animation fans who think more movement = better. Overanimated and exhausting to look at. It's not that well animated.
I’m fine with DLC like Elden Ring & Xenoblade being considered for GOTY, but personally think there should be a Best DLC category. I do count them in my personal top 10 favourite games of the year list.
DLC has been eligible for GOTY and other awards at the game awards for years. Blood and Wine *won* Best RPG in 2016, literally the year after Witcher 3 won GOTY. People need to stop spreading misinformation.
If there's one thing I will agree on is that Corporation acquisitions ruin competition. Sony already owns Crunchyroll, what the hell more do they want? Not looking forward to the layoffs that will certainly be happening 😒
Honestly I thought this was a great year for gaming but seeing this list kinda makes me think otherwise. Stuff like MVC collection as best fighter is a joke. Honestly the game awards has always been a joke
Regarding the best fighting game, Among Us established a few years ago that a game didn't have to release that year to win an award for some reason. I don't agree with it, but there is a precedent. Also, I agree with John, Black Myth Wukong should not have been in the running for game of the year. I think it is a beautiful game, but I don't think it is in the same league as the rest of the games on that list. I would have rather seen Prince of Persia take that spot.
The Sony thing seems wholly anime related since they already took steps in acquiring Crunchyroll awhile back. I don’t get the sense it’s a video game property thing. That would be probably be collateral damage for once.
Hope Sony doesn’t get Kadokawa because they already have too much of a hold on anime. I wish Prince of Persia the Lost Crown got nominated for Game of the Year. It’s really sad that more people didn’t give it a chance. I hope that it wins best action/adventure game for the developers. It absolutely stomps all the other games in that category.
since i am out of the loop, why doesn't echoes of wisdom count as a family game? like is there something that happens that make it not be family friendly? obviously not a game i have played nor am i a parent, but to me it does seem fit for family game
Its one of those "the categories are unclear" situations bc I would assume a family game has to be a multiplayer game that is "fun for the whole family". EoW is single player, plus several characters do threaten to execute Zelda early on in EoW so its also not THAT family friendly lol
Sony or aka aniplex has publish acquire games . But they 100 percent a studio would get shut down and spikechunsoft would just become danagaropa and fighting game factory
I personally don't think Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D does have good art direction, it's certainly beautiful, but it doesn't use HD-2D to its fullest, and in a lot of places just feels rather lazy visually. HD-2D is more than just Pixel sprites in a 3D environment, the texture work and model work feels too unstylised for the environments.

Well reasoned, and well said!
I have grown very bitter towards the Game Awards since 2020... so it is very refreshing to hear someone talk about their issues in a rather tactful way.
I'm also happy to hear that you like the GA's to this day... I wish I could myself...
If Sony owns Spike Chunsoft, that could be the end of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
Did not hear about this possible acquisition until now, really hope it does not happen.
That thumbnail is slightly misleading, considering Bloodborne is already Sony's own IP
I would understand the anime community more than the gaming community.
losing Aquire means also losing Octopath Traveler or any of those 2D-HD games...
Square can still make them. They didn't do DQ3 and that's the best HD-2D game yet.
Not entirely, Team Asano of SE are the original devs, same brains as Bravely Default/Second/Default 2. It would be merely locking out the help.
Square would still own the IP, they would just need to either find a new development studio or renegotiatethe deal with Sony
Octopath Traveler and DQ IP belong to Square Enix. Aquire is just a studio to make or commission to those games.
I realize I’m in the minority, but Sony owning Spike Chunsoft hurts me more than FromSoftware.
Oscar Bait is a movie that shouldn’t be nominated but baits the academy panel into nominating it for Best Picture.
Something most people are not talking about, but I wonder how P-Studios feels about not getting any recognition for their work whilst the ex-persona team (now studio zero) took all the nominations at the game awards with Metaphor. I feel like internally, that would discourage the team.
It's vile to see DLC steal the spot that belonged to Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
Unicorn Overlord and Stellar Blade deserved to be nominated over Urd Tree and Balatro.
Infinite Wealth over Metaphor. I can’t name one way Meta is better. Maybe soundtrack
Balatro is this year’s indie darling that gets that GOTY nomination and Stellar Blade is too sexy for American journos. Kinda surprised Wukong got in, but it DID have a major presence at TGA 2023
Balatro does technically have higher critic reviews than both of those.
@@dasboy1ify who cares. Most critics are 🤡
@@Ozzy_08x yeah like stray the one year. I enjoy Balatro but like vampire survivors. It’s nice for 30 mins then onto something else
My favorite cats for was adaptation it’s like “Look at all these great adaptations! and Knuckles”
i feel people have also forgotten that if sony buys kadokawa, the mystery dungeon series would be sony exclusive meaning no more pokemon mystery dungeon
shows i didn't watch the video sorry
I have a simple and clear-cut reason for that:
They are not their own product.
Should not have been even considered in the first place and should have its own DLC/expansion category.
silly Ash, Geoff doesn't host these awards to Send messages to the industry, they are an advertising for "how good & totally not full of abuse & missmanagement" Triple A
that's also why Nintendo is always getting relegated to the Kiddie corner
& my guess that that most categories are the same 5 games because Geoff really is stepping on eggshells
Oh yeah, I did forget that the Game Awards were a disingenuous circle jerk of the Triple A industry were.
It irritates me that there’s not a category like visual novel or narrative focused or something like that. I guess there’s not enough prominent games like that but Emio Smiling Man deserves to be recognized for having one of the best narratives I’ve ever seen in a video game
31:55
You contradict yourself when you say this after saying Geoff is not the one picking the nominees.
Surprised Echos of wisdom Wisdom isnt even in the conversation. That was my personal most fun goty
I really hope this doesnt happen because i think it would be really bad not just for games but really for anime mostly. Idk how anti monopoly laws are in japan if they even have any but like I would imagine there would be pushback from the government
Kadokawa acquisition by someone like Sony is a disaster, for multiple media industries. What an awful, awful piece if news to find out.
0:28 This is bad news then. Especially with what they did. Multiples times...
1:28 I agree.
From what I’ve read from ppl who play Souls games The Eldin ring dlc has requirements in the main game to even start so it shouldn’t be seen as separate from it.
If Miles Morales required you to beat the original Spider-Man to play or TTOK Was a post-credits add-on for BOTW I’d feel the same
I'm sure there are like a dozen games more deserving of that slot than a DLC so even if it doesn't win it still robs other games of their chance
I can't wait to see who interrupt Geoffrey this year 👏👏👏
Multiversus not only has been nominated twice, already won best fighting game in 2022!
I know people are going to cheer for FromSoft and honestly if Microsoft was able to absorb ABK in the time it did I don't think this is actually much of a reach to begin with, but Sony effectively gets a whole monopoly on the anime industry if this happens and considering how stuff like Crunchyroll has been handled, there's a double edged sword to all this in a sense
But you know, I'm in this for Bloodborne 2 and Bloodborne Kart so there's that too
This year's nominees are LESS contentious than some years, but there's still the odd choices.
Spike Chunsoft published Exist Archive and last I checked, that's a PS4 exclusive.
Weren't the Danganronpa games originally PS exclusive as well?
Idk if this is true but there are rumors that Kadokawa was the one who approached Sony to buy them. The reason why is that Kakao (a Korean company) was gonna do a hostile takeover or something.
I like and still play Multiversus. I also like Rivals of Aether 2.
As a Platform Fighter fan, I'm just happy that these games exist. I'd even include NASB2 as well.
Should be a new category, "Best Technical Game", maybe this way we won't get so many under performing games at launch.
as much as i think Pekora deserves the credit; it's hilarious that she's only in Geoff's Power Hour because she's Kojumbo's favorite Vtuber
Unicorn Overlord is my GotY. I spent over 400 hours playing that game this year. Really good.
Less categories just means more time for world premiers and celebrity guests speaking. I think the game awards is a joke, honestly.
and cutting off devs mid through their speech.
@@sparkypack pretty sure this year they won't even get to speak lmao
@@Nekomania haha.. It's gonna be all just Geoff and Kojima. 😄
@sparkypack i'm just surprised kojima even likes him 🤣
Don't let the comments hate on you for liking Zenless. That's such a stupid thing to be mad over.
I see this as well.
They do a ton of work with the english cast so to me it doesn't feel like their just dubbing over japanese casts' performances. And with how non japanese the world of ff7 is it def feels like the en cast is the default pick kinda like mgs or kingdom hearts
This video had live audience? When it was recorded?
Unicorn Overlord and Stellar Blade missing from a lot of awards is really surprising. Both were incredible games that i thought deserved more recognition
My special shout-out to Unicorn Overlord. Game journalists once again missing obvious contestants.
My hot takes:
John Eric Bentley was snubbed for a second time.
What’s the name of the Xenoblade track used at the beginning of this video?
Please tell me if I'm wrong but I don't see persona 3 reload mentioned at all in any of the lists, I feel like it deserves a nominee for best RPG and or Sound design
You say "snubs" but there can only be 6. The only surprise in the 6 nominations were Shadow of the Erdtree and Balatro. For both of those, you guys explained why they're there.
I think the game awards always tries to throw in one indie nomination. I don’t think that nomination will ever win, but they do always try to put one in. I don’t think there was one last year tho.
@@ContrastCopyit takes two won in 2021
I have 3 words to say about Content Creator of the Year:
Konpeko! Konpeko! Konpeko!
Shout-out for the UFO50 love from this crew, it absolutely deserves game of the year nomination and a win at that!!
11:54 This. I could theoretically adjust to seeing “sequel worthy DLC” up for GotY, but when it’s so transparently biased to offer a second bite at the Apple to a game that practically pipelined to win it’s own year already, it reeks of favoritism.
32:40 personally, my currently most anticipated game is The Midnight Walk and KH4 whenever that gets another trailer
No Persona 3 Reload or Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance included
Love how often you play Xenoblade music on videos
Imagine Sony caring about a game like Mystery Dungeon or Rain Code.
Rocking the FFX Tidus necklace. Love it.
I will cry at the loss of those studios
The more acquisitions, the faster Sony will go bankrupt. At this point I think it would be for the better
The Sony thing seems wholly anime related since they already took steps in acquiring Crunchyroll awhile back. I don’t get the sense it’s a video game property thing. That would be probably be collateral damage for once.
No persona 3 reload is legit criminal. These dudes do not play games
It's interesting that you like those modes in Fortnite. I personally bounced off of them fast. I wish the racing game had power ups.
Imagine Nintendo buying Shonen Jump
DLC's should have their own category, then again I'm glad I dont give a damn about the ad awards, kinda pity those who do
I’m waiting for the Armored Core 6 DLC game. Or AC7. DO IT, FROM
Hope Sony doesn’t get Kadokawa because they already have too much of a hold on anime. I wish Prince of Persia the Lost Crown got nominated for Game of the Year. It’s really sad that more people didn’t give it a chance. I hope that it wins best action/adventure game for the developers. It absolutely stomps all the other games in that category.
Looks like they're looking to acquire Acquire.
Totally don't understand this year's nominated games. Unicorn Overlord definitely needs more better treatment.
100% agree!
Hell Divers deserves a nomination for Game of the Year.
Big facts thats my GOF
since i am out of the loop, why doesn't echoes of wisdom count as a family game? like is there something that happens that make it not be family friendly? obviously not a game i have played nor am i a parent, but to me it does seem fit for family game
