    Kia ora whanau where is this style of Mau Rākau from? I was taught the Tauranga way

      Kia ora e hoa,
      This style is primarily a Mokoia/Te Arawa style, although there’s also bits and pieces drawn from all around the motu and from my own mahi!

      Can you clarify your question please. Theo is one of our Maori students who has also studied mau Rakau for years. What do you mean by "copied"?
