That's great, but already now I can see 2 years later they've doubled their prices. Not very nice!

You didn't sell you soul to the devil, don't worry. But u did literally let the devil rent your soul, thankfully you ended the contract.

I think the difference in users is due to blockers so GA will show less

  • @entvea

The reason Google is showing less is prolly cause of Analytics blockers why is more common or people leaving before it loaded since its quite a large script.

Can you compare Linux and windows on battery life? I think battery is so important for users.

This is really cool and glad something is out there for self hosting analytics! Also I did a quick search on your channel for any Alpine videos. Would that be possible to cover in a video?

Techhut, being a brand new to analytics as a whole (not used GA either) I was very interested to get a detailed video run through of the Goals setting option in Plausible (we ideally want to avoid using GTM and GA). Do you have or know of a video that covers this off? Searching RUclips gives a number of demos/reviews of Plausible, but frustratingly, each one so far has skipped getting into this 'Goals' detail. Probably is simple and intuitive when you get into it/know. Looking forward to learning more.

Hmm but 3 years later and you're still using GTM on your site, not Plausible. The Matomo on-prem offering (mentioned in these comments) looks a little more promising when I compare the two.

Plausible seems plausible than G analytics

Looks great but...No matter how much u de-google stuff their products will still always stand out to be seamless and integrated with other solutions. Google analytics has a ton of APIs and data studio 360 and search console integrated with each other.

I’d like to de-Google my sites. I haven’t looked into GA alternatives other than I have a license to 66 Analytics. Is there more than just Plausible.

Fathom analytics is an option too!
