Idk man I just don't know. I like my one plus 9 5g a little better cause I can wirelessly charge at 50wats and reverse charge at 5wats so I mean there's that plus I already have qhd+ on this phone and pretty much everything else minus the oppo part and i only have a 4500mah battery but I mean hey what are we talking About here. Like it seems two generations of phone from OnePlus came out and the 95g is still right up there with them.
Awesome video, as always I enjoyed it thoroughly. I have an iPhone 11 but nothing else holds me down to Apple. So when comparing the one plus and an iPhone first thing that I think about is,”Do I need to upgrade?”. I purchased my iPhone when it came out around the 2019 holidays and it still runs fine. I also think about the eco system I share with my family through Apple. For the future, it just makes sense for me to stick with Apple. The market needs something really different to make me say I’m going to benefit from moving all my years worth of services and saved files to that other company. But you’re right, having solid phones for a good price is enticing (especially for a casual like me that doesn’t need that much power in a phone and usually pays out of pocket), now they just need a good ecosystem to tie it up.
I really don't think there's any climb whatsoever. They have always made high-end phones. However, I'm glad to see them getting back to building a flagship killer rather than devoting a lot of time to making a flagship.
Gave up my iphone 12 for OnePlus 11 and it's been a great decision. OP 11 is smooth as silk, I use messaging, multiple mails, one drive and social media all at once and phone never stutters, animations are smooth and completely lag free. I think the touch of color OS in Oxygen OS isn't that bad of an idea. No bloatware anywhere. Performance is blazing fast, RAM management is superb! Very happy with OnePlus this time!
i started using Oneplus with the 9 pro woulda started with the 8 but i loved lg so i chose the v60 i loved the oneplus 9 pro and i have had the op10 pro since launch last year one plus is amazing with price speed and charging and really good with cameras if they can finally upgrade their front facing camera to 4k 60 and improve their zoom on the telephoto camera they will really be all arond amazing and will complete the lg replacement becoming a better contender then lg ever was.
Ever since the Zenfone 8 I've been a fan of the series, so I'm waiting to see what they do with the 10. Otherwise, this phone might end up in my pocket.
I did buy it. Was between pixel 6a, 7a, or 7 and the Oneplus. I opted for the looks n honestly suckered in a bit by the Hasselblad camera branding. Cant wait for it to get here! Ill be back with my impressions
You should. I am using it currently and gave away my iphone 12 for it and feel I have done the right thing. Phone's smooth as butter, blazing fast and free from any bloatware. Moreover you get timely security patch updates, which is a plus.
Awesome value here in new Zealand. Not many retailers carry the pixel 7 family so the cheapest you can get a 7 pro in newzealand is around 16-1700 NZD. You can pick up the top one plus 11 for 1499 NZD. The 8 128 version for 1299 NZD. Even scarier when you compare it to the s23 ultra which is a beast but retails for 2299 NZD.... For the base model
I have the op7pro. Still figuring out which one to go for. Pixel 7 pro, s23, or maybe even the Xiaomi 13 pro looks good. My op's front camera died a month ago. Otherwise I couldn't have to switch it for atleast 6 months. Still doing ok after about 4 years!
Thank you for not acting like it's the end of the world the fact that there is no wireless charging. Most other reviewers do this and then award the win to a competitor who just got smoked in nearly every other category. This from an OG OnePlus fan.
Personally, I think it would be a little silly to put a 1080p screen on this phone. If you want to run the quad HD display in 1080p there is that option in the settings. Just dial it down if you want to save battery. After all, isn't it better to have options? In addition, if they do decide to come out with a t variant later in the year they will most likely put a 1080p display on that. Frankly, I think the 11 looks like an amazing flagship killer. I can't wait to get mine on the 20th.
@@Mirsab actually, there's no guarantee that there's going to be a T variant this year. Although, I certainly hope there is. Frankly, after using the 11 for the last week they would have to go a long way to better this device. Still, the T stands for turbo and that's usually what the design is all about. While there might be a better processor out by then, that variant usually lacks quad HD display and a few other features. I guess we'll see what oneplus decides to do.
Looking forward to 11T, currently have 6t, decided to not get OnePlus again but rethinking about it this year Since there's no pro variant I'm hoping for t variant to be better than 11
Good review but some points I feel you missed or disagree with: I disagree that Pixel's "optimization" makes up for the difference in "raw power". The 11's snapdragon 8g2 crushes the tensor 2 in benchmarks and easily out-preforms the pixel for gaming or heavy workloads. The 11 has faster storage transfer (UEFS 4.0) and it supports wi-fi 7. Also I disagree that the stock android is a better user experience. Its ok and better then what Samsung has to offer, but its also very barebones, lacks customization, and could be better in a lot of ways. Oxygen 13 does improve on it in several ways, just as one example the layout of the settings menu is just much smarter and makes more sense. It isn't perfect but I still find it to be the best option on the market right now for pure, overall user experience. And something that almost every review I have seen has missed is the great new haptics the 11 has, which just adds to that great user experience.
Most of it seems fine, but just not a big fan of that back, would have preferred the module being centered, but either way competition is always a plus
It splits the price between the Pixels even with their discount, still cheaper than the pro and I'd argue it'll age better from a battery/performance standpoint over the Pixel if a users plan is to keep it for 3-4 years. But in the end it just shows that both Pixel and OnePlus are giving a lot more value over brands like Samsung and iPhone with very few compromises for hundreds of dollars less. OnePlus is back in that regard 👌
If you buy direct from OnePlus USA I was able to get a $200 set of bluetooth earbuds included in my order. OnePlus 11 and the earbuds are great, the only issue I have is I can't change the volume from the earbuds. Charging the OnePlus 11 is crazy fast is all I have to say and they also include the charger in the box. 👍
I do not trust this brand anymore. Have the 8 Pro and immediately after the Android 12 update, it ruined my display with a permanent vertical line on screen. Apparently this issue is also present in 8T and 9 series as well.
Bollocks that's physical damage caused from to much pressure it literally cannot happen from software and my partner has op8 pro with latest software and guess what no green line
I've owned the OnePlus X, 7 Pro, 8T and 10 Pro, but I purchased them all used or on a sale. I don't think you should ever buy this phone at Launch. I personally don't mind the Oxygen OS/ Color OS thing as I mainly use Nova Launcher on all my phones.
Why do you guys didn't add focal length for the phones. This can be something useful for people like me getting a understanding of how we can go. Or I just a photo nerd
I am writing this on a pixel 7 pro that I am returning for the OnePlus. Negatives for the pixel 7 pro are, it rattles, tapping on the screen sounds hollow and cheap. Unfortunately, that screen size is an automatic 'no' for me. I need a 6.3" display or smaller phone. I have a S21 FE is its 6.4" display is already too much for me to deal with.

First of all no it's not better 2 this phone sits in the wrong segment it isn't a flagship and it isn't a falgship killer so this is none. And OnePlus is cheesing us with only giving USF 4.0 on the 256gb model 🙄 and OnePlus software is so bad especially for their old phones. Lags everywhere in gaming no higher fps support in any game and bugs. The OnePlus 7 pro was way more impressive when it came out
I think if you don’t care about gaming and are on T-mobile; this phone is a no brainer. Ya the Pixel 7 is cheaper, but once you throw in the cost of a charger block; not that much more.
Am I perhaps, Again, noticing a pretty steep price difference between the USA and the UK. Dollars versus Pounds sterling,! Why does it Appear that so many, especially phone companies are RIPPING OFF THE UK.. PEOPLE. AGAIN? BUT. IF SO. WHY, OR HOW IS THIS BEING ALLOWED?

Nah I'll wait it out. I bought the 9 at launch and hated it. From what you showed, things look promising but I won't get my hopes up. I really do hope that OP gets back to their roots.
$550-$600 would have been the right price for this OnePlus 11. 850€ in Europe 😵💫 No wireless charging, no iP certification, USB-C 2.0 in 2023 when the OnePlus 7 had USB-C 3.0, a ×2 zoom that does not work in video, FHD 30 selfie camera not stabilized... Unless it comes with earbuds or other gifts, as much as I don't like the Pixel 7s and I would clearly rather buy this OnePlus 11 than a Pixel 7 / 7 Pro , it will be difficult for the OnePlus 11 on the Western market, especially since in addition this year the Galaxy S23s have the 8 Gen 2 everywhere, and thanks to Samsung's promotions and offers the S23s actually come back to customers at $200-$300 cheaper than their official price, without even mentioning the carriers deals (AT&T, Verizon, Orange, Vodafone...) in collaboration with Samsung. And I haven't even mentioned Apple yet with its iPhone 13s which are almost iPhone 14s and have dropped in price. And on the Asian market and especially in India, there are brands like Motorola with its much better equipped and cheaper Edge 40.
I loved my oneplus 8 and 9, skipped the 10, and this phone has no wireless charging and from what I can tell there is no dual sim option (I could be wrong). Those are deal breakers for me. Also the pixel 7 camera is pure TRASH! Go try taking a picture in a darker room, the amount of grain you get from the lack of a good low light sensor makes it unusable. I'm also not the only one to say so "Apparently, the quality of the final photos is very low, more typical of mid-range smartphones. According to reports, the Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro front camera photos lose a lot of detail when lighting conditions are not perfect, resulting in blurry, noisy or washed-out images."
Why do people NEED wireless charging? How hard is it to plug a phone into a charger, how long does it take? I fail to see the use of wireless charging, it's not truly wireless (you won't be using the phone while it charges magically), it's less efficient, and slower than normal charging. Please explain to me why you need it, I just need to understand.
@@Budgetgadgets2 has nothing but flagship phones past few years. Android and iPhones. 14 pro max is my daily right now. Never used the “wireless” charging. Slower charging and degrades the battery faster due to the extra heat. Doesn’t make any sense. Just a novelty like a macro camera
I upgraded from oneplus 6 to oneplus 10t and only missed alert slider for like 2 days lol its not a deal breaker if u ask me but its a good thing that they listened and brought it back, o+11 seems like a step in the right direction even 11R is a very interesting phone given the price
Can OnePlus ever shake the doubts people have with the brand? Maybe not in the near future, but this is a step in the right direction.

s23 vs OnePlus 11 at same storage and price(256, 799$)?
I'm glad to see OP taking a step in the right direction. It's hard not to be rooting for them even if there's a bit of a climb left to go.

I'm also not the only one to say so
"Apparently, the quality of the final photos is very low, more typical of mid-range smartphones.
The 11 does have dual sim
I upgraded from oneplus 6 to oneplus 10t and only missed alert slider for like 2 days lol its not a deal breaker if u ask me but its a good thing that they listened and brought it back, o+11 seems like a step in the right direction even 11R is a very interesting phone given the price
I've never been a fan of the huge circular camera bump I hate it but I've got to say that the 1plus 11 is growing on me.
