    Nice sunny day! The head shape of TS2 reminds me of the Taylormade Burner '09. Has he tried the TS3? Any difference in dispersion compared to the TS2?

    That's a nice, long, smooth swing you've got him into Carter. Get him on speed stick training and he'll be pushing 300 yards by new years.

    I love the sound of the TSI2 but the head size and non adjustability are really pushing me towards TSI3. I am a big fan of the titanium crack when it comes to drivers and woods, is the 3 similar out on the course?

      Old shaft was the Project X 6.0 (low spin) hence the 1700-1900 rpm.
      New one is the 50g Kurocage stiff flex.
      My bad, should have said!

    Would you suggest trying to up his club head speed to get more distance or should you just tweak for consistency?

    • @andycartergolf
      @andycartergolf  4 года назад +1

      Depends what he’s looking for, how much time he can dedicate to practice/change and how beneficial it can be.
      Knowing Bernie- no I wouldnt suggest it as he’s more of a recreational golfer.
      But he’s very athletic so for sure he could improve swing/speed

    I'm curious what his average numbers were with his old Ts2. He only hit it once in the video and it was the longest drive at 251/270. He seemed to average 245/260 with the Tsi2.

  • @TheChurchofCacti

    I use the TS2 and love it. My driver club head speed is 99mph minimum to 101mph maximum. So I just say I swing 100MPH to make it easy. I get around 275-280 yards Carry and 300-310 yards distance. What I like most about the TS2 is how forgiving it is. If I leave the club face Open a bit too much with my old driver and I'm on the next fairway. The TS2 calmed those slices down big time because I feel l can swing so easy and still get the distance. In fact since buying the TS2 I'm hitting more fairways than I ever have in my life. Commonly hitting 5 out 7 fairways on a quick 9 hole round without any warm up at the range. When it comes to the rest of my game? Awful! Probably one the biggest disparities you've seen between parts of the game. I look like a Tournament player off the first Tee but by the end of the 2nd Hole anyone with me can tell I'm fighting to break 100. The short game kills me once I get within 100 yards it commonly takes me 4 or 5 shots to hole

    I swing around the same speed with the same TS2/Hzrdus Smoke 6.0 but I get high launching bombs out of it. Any thoughts? I have a smooth Steve Stricker swing vs Bernie's more athletic attack.

    • @andycartergolf
      @andycartergolf  4 года назад +1

      The ts2 was soooo wrong for him. He won it in a golf tournament.
      This shows importance of a fitting more than it shows improvements titleist have made to their equipment

      @@andycartergolf would you say the driver was bad for him or the shaft was with the TS2

  • @richo2501
    @richo2501 4 года назад +1

    Hang in a minute. Are you trying to tell me that this player with the TS2 had an attack angle of 1.8, -0.5, -0.5 (numbers shown) and then miraculously with TSi2 he had no less than 2.2 with a few 4.0 and 5.0 thrown in for good measure? Even his path and face to oath changed. In other words, a completely different delivery. A change of club head and/or shaft does not achieve that! Feels like ur leaving something out here. Just saying.

    • @andycartergolf
      @andycartergolf  4 года назад +2

      Yes I am haha, his shot shape changed the more balls he hit! He got more inside on both takeaway and delivery.
      No tips from me either. Everytime i play with him his shot shapes changes!
      Mid handicap golf i suppose.

    • @richo2501
      @richo2501 4 года назад +2

      @@andycartergolf He would be the first I've ever hear that changes his/her delivery with driver by up to 7deg (from down nearly 2deg to up 5deg in the same batch of shots)! So what your saying he's a freak of nature. A 7deg change in attack angle is MASSIVE! I'd suggest that's the reason for the improved carry and distance than a driver or shaft change. Delivery has been SUBSTANTIALLY improved for the shots you showed data for with the TSi2 compared to the TS2. And sorry, I don't believe that even a 14 handicappers delivery would vary as much as it did. Regardless of handicap, golfers are generally pretty consistent with swing patterns. They don't FUNDAMENTALLY change their swing pattern from one driver to the next. In other words go from average downward strike to significantly upward strikes just by changing a driver and shaft.

    • @mikedeisle5
      @mikedeisle5 3 года назад

      @@richo2501 I also change my attack angle that drastically with my driver only. Shows on the trackman too. For me it has to do with driver confidence from day to day.

    This guy swings like an old lady, he's young and in good shape so what's the deal? He should have a 110mph club speed, not 98

    • @andycartergolf
      @andycartergolf  3 года назад +1

      @@mpguitarra He swings it steep and out to in to difficult to add speed from this, not as easy as relaxing but he plays golf to a standard he's comfortable with so fitted clubs can maximise his current game
