Disappearing Edinburgh Torphin Hill Golf Club 1895-2013

The club, which was established in 1895, was unable to continue operating after seeing membership tumble from 500 to 200 in recent years. Finally closing in Dec 2013 this is what a golf course looks like after six months of neglect. Filmed June 2014

Just been up for a walk around Torphin Hill. Worked as a greenkeeper 1999/2000. Sad to see what has become of the golf course. So challenging with small greens and tight fairways. Great memories
