Aaarrggghhh 😂. For some reason, many of the young reporters I worked with used to liberally throw exclamation marks throughout their copy. It would drive me insane 😊
Congratulations on 1,000 Subscribers! It's soooo exciting! I'm so glad you did the questions - I love these videos! I LOVE the Book Shack and found it interesting to hear more about it!
This was such a fun and fascinating Q&A, Debs! The book shack sounds like an absolute dream-I love how much thought has gone into making it cozy, insulated, and the perfect reading space. Minus two degrees in the morning though? You’re braver than me! 😂 Your choices for which five books to replace if the shack blew away were so thoughtful-PG Wodehouse and The Complete Works of Shakespeare alone could keep anyone entertained for ages. And I’m with you on wanting to chat with Agatha Christie about her time in archaeology and, of course, those mysterious days when she disappeared. That would be an incredible conversation! Also, your eclectic taste in music really shines-gypsy jazz, Motown, reggae, folk… it’s clear you have a deep appreciation for storytelling in all its forms. I’m so looking forward to part two and hearing more of your answers. Congrats again on 1,000 subscribers-it’s so well deserved! 😊🎉📚
What a lovely message, thank you so much 😊. I absolutely love my book shack. My husband calls it my hobbit hole 😂😂. Thankfully it doesn’t take long for it to warm up once the heater is on. I do like to try and experience as much variety as possible in my reading and my music. Thank you so much for your really kind comment
@@RaynorReadsStuff You're so welcome! 😊 Your book shack sounds like an absolute dream-I love that your husband calls it your hobbit hole, that’s so charming! 🏡 It’s great to hear it warms up quickly, too; it must be the perfect cozy retreat for diving into all those varied reads and tunes. I admire your dedication to exploring such a range of both-it’s so inspiring. Wishing you many warm, wonderful hours in your hobbit hole this year!
Gosh, I HATE tech issues. 😂 I love this so much. Love you and your channel. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I want a BookShack when I retire. #goals (I just edited my !!!) hee hee
Thanks so much. I was convinced it was you who had recommended that book 😂😂. Obviously it was someone else. I hope you enjoy it though. I thought it was fab. Thanks so much for the questions 😊
To kill a Mockingbird is also my favourite book, which I have read at least once every year since 1981, when a student in my school recommended it to me:-) So much in so few pages.
Praying that you can get your eyes examined soon. I know it can be a pain when you have to deal with broken glasses especially when you need them to read.
I too wanted to be a museum curator,or a monk (though I am female!) or a witch in a cottage in a forest! Ended up being a physician 😔 Hilarious answer to my question, thank you!
Hi Debs congratulations on your 1, 000 subscribers. Debs do you buy books from Waterstone's? I find them incredibly expensive. I have bought books from charity shops in pristine condition, just as good as from any top book outlet
My trick is to go to Oxfam bookshops in posh areas - as they can often have some of the latest books (some of them still have the "buy one get one half price" sticker on, so obviously come from Waterstones!)
I gave up on reading the book version of Kirsty Logan's "Now She's A Witch" because of the experimental punctuation. And I had to give up on the audio version (narrated by Logan herself) because I could HEAR the lack of punctuation!
I think To Kill A Mockingbird might be my most re-read book too. That's interesting that you can't have your eyes tested when your diabetes is not stable, it effects your vision? How odd.
Yes it’s weird about the diabetes and the eyesight. I have to have a specialist eye test every two years as well. Sadly that does not give you prescriptions. To Kill a Mockingbird is truly fabulous 😊
!!!! 😂Just kidding, I'm the daughter of two teachers, I like punctuation too.

Thanks Sarah. These were really fun to do 😊
Delightful responses, Debs. Looking forward to Part 2 as well.
Thanks Pat. Lots of your questions in part two 😊

lol. I really get mad when tech fails me 😂😂. My daughters would have said ‘ooooh you’re an angry gremlin’ 😂. Get yourself a book shack (and a heater)

Great answers Debs, I think everyone should read Winnie the Pooh. Looking forward to part 2.
Pooh - now that was unexpected. 😂 I daresay I can’t remember if I’ve read any.
Ought to be essential reading. It’s wonderful 😊

Hilarious answer to my question, thank you!
I wanted to be a medieval monk (am female as well) but unfortunately didn't end up as a physician:)
@ Is it not funny that we did not want to be nuns!
That’s fabulous. Not a nun but a monk. I do quite fancy being a witch in a cottage in a forest 😂
