If my memory serves me correctly and observation of their storyline basically they are 1000 year old valkyries (aka its fair to say vampires) in search of redemption to protect humankind after battling the evil monarchs and trying not to become evil themselves, etc. *THIS FOLLOWED FROM THEIR “COME BACK HOME” MV
