Thanks for the video Trenton. Great to see you welding which will improve the more your doing it. You got the main points 100% correct, and that was to clean back to good metal and get great penetration. Making it look good is just practice. Thanks from Scotland.
Great idea on the gusset brace! A local Pro Welder would use them. He also would switch types of rod during a job because the metal would change temperature. Couldn't explain why, but knew to do it. Keep at it, and I will keep watching!👍👍
TrenTON! Nice video. What the heck man, you were grinding on that bale spear and I thought I was looking at the arms of a 20 year old!🤣😂🤣 Really good to hang out with you. It's been a great asset to my life to share in your growth and development into an awesome man. Thank you. I know i sound like a broken record but I wish you'd get a P.O box so I could send you a couple books on welding and metallurgy. I know you're smart and I know you're sick of education you believe you'll never use. There's allot of education will can use and you can never have too many skills. Think of it this way, once you really understand the metallurgy of welding, you can weld it once forever. The best welder I ever knew got himself some books on metallurgy and taught himself. He could weld stuff rough looking or grind, polish and paint so you'd never know it was welded. Both held fast. The hardest part of getting old is feeling not useful, on the other hand you have to keep yourself safe from internet trolls. Well I've prattled on to long enough. Thanks again for the video and you take care.
I am always learning something from you, Trent. That's why I love when you post a video. I am interested to know what you are up to on your farm. Being a farmer, to me, means you MUST know many, many trades to keep everything working. Also saw how serious the grade is on the field you were cutting. I can understand why the tractor slid. Keep these videos coming, please.
Hi Trenton, good video this is a wild rod you will like 7024 it's an AC rod doesn't work well DC. And only flat poison but you will like it ask your weld instructor.
Great video young man those rolling hills bring back a lot of memories from growing up in Pa
You sure live in beautiful country.
Trenton, love how much you farmers and ranchers learn at such a young age, by doing the work. Some people pay good money to learn those skills.
You are becoming a good welder.
Nice job Trenton! You're getting much better at welding and you look really professional in that new welding gear!

Celebrating Labor Day by laboring, eh? Cool. Given this stuff is fun to you.
Awesome video. Thank you very much
Welding is a very important skill for farmers.
Oh, yeah!
This recovering dairyperson farmed in Bradford County & Lehigh County.
What you plan doing after schooling?
Stay safe. Thank you.
I did think cool closeup of the welding flames but isn't that hurting your camera that close. Well, one lens sacrificed to true artistry.
Where do you live at which state
