I landed on the tier 1 axis elite because I was looking for something that works with a tucked in shirt for work. No complaints so far. Was expensive for sure. Went to a entertainment place with my wife and kids and they had a no weapon policy. Was able to tuck in my t shirt over my Glock and wore a flannel (not tucked) over top. Had 0 worries what so ever I was going to print or my flannel would come up when I picked up my kids and expose my Glock. Maybe more holsters have the tuck in feature than I’m aware of, but when I was doing my research Warrior Poet society had a video specifically talking about tucked in shirts featuring them, then their page had a nice video explaining their tucked in options. Seemed right to me and like I said no complaints so far.

I have the incog for my macro. Switching over to a g45 as my carry gun so was looking into different holsters. I was considering all of the options you’ve mentioned in this video and I think you’ve convinced me to just get another incog!
@@archerysolves3289 my OWB range gun at that time was a G17. So I was trying to keep my carry gun consistent to what I worked with majority of the time.
I had the same issue until I finally bit the bullet and paid for the T1C which I knew I should have done from the jump, best holster I’ve owned. So comfortable and my 320 disappears in it
I run two Tier1C holsters, an Axis Elite and original Axis Slim, for CCW with either Kore leather belt or the Hunter Constantine stretch belt. I actually prefer the Axis slim over the elite, even though the elite is their most popular option, because it’s slimmer and easier to conceal. With DCC clips, it’s nearly undetectable. My first holster was cheapo, auctioned it off on eBay! Investment in great equipment is worth the cost. Subscribed! Digging the draw from concealment at range, gotta try that! 😎🇺🇸
I have three txc holsters . I love them for their looks and customization . And i highly recommend buying that 20 dollar thing that gets rid of the cord that holds the mag and holster . The bad thing about txc is that their lead time are probably one of the worst . Waited about a month and a week to have it shipped haha .
Yeah I honestly had a great experience with mine, just found that I preferred certain features of the other ones. But I actually hadn't heard about that $20 piece. I bought my holster back in 2018 and I don't think they had it back then
Been running a T Rex Arms sidecar for about 2 years now. Just recently got the Incog X and honestly I've loved it and made the switch full time. It's so comfy and the retention feedback is so satisfying.
I have countless Tier1 holsters, they’re all great and the new APX is incredible. I’d try the Safariland but that outside texture won’t work with adhesive wedge options, so it’s a no go for me.
Nice review. When drawing, the T1C and Safariland looked to provide less "draw up" on the holster, i.e. smoother and less holster movement. Lots of movement with the TXC. I like your rating system. Would be nice if it was adopted by other holster reviewers. It reminds me of the 10 C's of Survival by Dave Canterbury. Would have been nice to show a comparison table with your ratings, but I know that adds time to editing.
Aside from flashin’ your belly 100x, I appreciate the demonstration of drawing and reholstering. Most reviews just parrot features ad nauseam. I’m looking for a good appendix carry for the Sig P365XL and a light.
Soooo many holsters out there. Of course I have a box full of holsters. The one I use every day is the Gcode. Its about six years old, so Im not sure what model it is.
Yes I believe the Incogs are originally designed for the TLR series. The laser on the bottom of the TLR-8A *might* give you trouble but I'm not sure. I would check with Safariland first
If you get a light bearing option for the IncogX, is the light required for proper fit/retention still if the retention is based around the ejection port instead of the light itself? You actually brought up a lot of features about the IncogX I was unaware of. I hope they make one for lefties now because I'm very interested after watching this video (currently have T1C Axis Elite non light bearing)
Just took my light off and tested it for you. Short answer: yes, it does still fit in the holster (the Glock 19 + TLR7 version, at least) with proper/snug retention since it uses the ejection port for retention and the trigger guard for stabilization. Long answer: I wouldn't recommend it. Once it is in there, it fits just fine and you honestly can't tell the difference, but re-holstering is extremely inconsistent because the light helps guide everything back into place. It is kind of like trying to put a normal 5-fingered glove on if you were missing a finger or two. It's possible, but the process is a bit inconsistent. I would recommend you either get a light, or just buy the non-light-bearing version of the IncogX. The last thing you want to worry about is an inconsistent reholster process because the muzzle is pointed right at your junk...hope that helps
I like the idea of sidecar holsters but living in FL where the heat index is regularly well north of 100 my clothing options don't allow me to conceal much over a P365 and a slim Kydex holster for half of the year with an extra mag in my pocket.
The T1 Axis Elite is nice for my EDC Glock 19, but it’s expensive. I need a new holster for my P320 M18, but I’m not willing to be shaken down again. Thinking of Safariland.
I’ve been a T1C fanboy for about 3 years. I have 4 different ones for my different setups and am MSP for my TLR-1HL. I need a new setup for my m&p 2.0 work a tlr7, and just found out they don’t do adjustable sweat guards anymore. Only mid height is available to help with streamlining production. Needless to say I don’t feel like dropping close to 200 bucks unless it’s exactly what I want. I’m going to give the Safariland a try (if they make it for the m&p 2.0), I especially like the way the retention works on it based on what you said.

Not so much on my Glock 19, but that's because it has the glossy nDLC finish, not the new, chalk-board-like finish that Glock started using on the newer models (Glock 43X, 48, etc). On the newer slide finishes, I did notice a significant amount of holster wear.
Im watching this video too late. Purchases the tier 1. I tried cancelling because of the price and it hasn’t been 24 hours but it seems that they don’t work on Saturdays, so I might be down some money wise.

Now when it comes to larger guns, I've been told Tenicor is the way to go, but I feel that Werkz also puts out a solid product.

But I didn't know how to go pee and with them so I got the IncogX ones. Reny’s 🙌
Frustrating that lefty’s are frequently left out (bad dad joke). I would buy the Incog right now if they offered it in LH.
You mean wrong handed? Haha I feel your frustration, that is annoying. I would email them, I bet they would be pretty receptive.
Tell me you're from Maine without telling me you're from Maine. I'm guessing somewhere north of Augusta. But fuckin what do I know.
Are you a traveling man ?
"I'm a travelin' man and I've made a lot of stops all over the world"
From whence come you and where do you travel?
Trexarms is kind based
VERY based. Havent had a chance to try their holsters yet
Tier 1 is not worth the cost.
Yeah I enjoyed the use I got out of it but I definitely wish their price was more competitive...
Which do you use?
@@Rico4801 Sticking with the Safariland IncogX for now, but they are all good options. Just depends on your needs!
@@defencivsolutions That’s who I’m going with
I have 4 Axis elite holsters and the 3 IncogX holsters, and I love them both. I honestly stopped using my Axis holsters cause I'm fairly new to the 2A game and still learning. But I didn't know how to go pee and with them so I got the IncogX ones. But now I really like the IncogX but I feel for some reason it conceals smaller guns on me better and my Axis elite holsters makes guns like my 19X dissappear. And now I know wtf I'm doin I can wear it all day long and forget I have it on. I'm not giving up on my IncogX holsters tho. I just have to learn how to use them better.
Will we ever return to BELIEVING or THINKING instead of all this "I feel like?" Our Granddaughter's pet rabbit "feels" 🤡
Weird thing to take issue with lol
Attention Gen Z: stop saying “whenever”
Weird thing to comment about lol. 1. I'm not even gen Z...2. "whenever" is a grammatically acceptable word to use. Thanks for the comment though my guy, have a good day!
