Thank you for this walkthrough! This is such a beautiful deck. There are so many different types of flowers which is a pleasant surprise! Love that it gives the cards an extra dimension 🌼 The way the people cards are handled is wonderful as well 💛

Haven't seen this Lenny yet and as an absolute Lenormand fan I absolutely love to get introduced to new for me decks (since that doesn't happen a lot cause you don't get to see a lot of Lenny videos). So thanks for sharing.
Love the tin especially with the bleeding heart on it (one of my favourite flowers) and the blue tone of the edging is stunning. Also love the way the clover overgrows the black background (like good luck is finally taking over after a dark time). That the house is depicted during nighttime with the lights on... absolutely lovely to look at and also gives me more of that comfy safety feeling that the house could represent. Looove that we can see the roots of the tree (really plays well with the idea of that longterm, stable growth, as well as nourishment, groundedness and healing).
The cloud card is one of a few if not the only critique I have since there's no obvious light and dark side to it ( at least I vouldn't recognize it)
That child card is so beautiful and that isn't a thing I say often (since a lot of the time they look creepy or over the top kitschy). But I love the silhouette and the flower circle around. Reminds me of my childhood where we would collect white flowers and then knotting them together to create a flower crown.
So I think I m going to stop my ramble now before it gets even longer. Sorry for the novel length.
Oooh, I’m glad to introduce you then! Yeah the lack of lenny videos is sad. It’s such a great system and now that more and more attractive lenny decks are being made, hopefully that’ll start to change. Big same on the bleeding heart love. Love the clover growth perspective, and your perspective on the House card as well! And your tree roots perspective. Shit, I’m gonna be looking for these sorts of things in future lenny decks now, so thanks 😆 and by all means, ramble away lol. There’s a couple small things that don’t suit my tastes about the deck as well, but oh man, it’s just so lovely overall that I can overlook my smaller gripes (like the Fish card still bothers me lol). @@LarkandLegend it really makes me happy that my rambles on the card depictions where helpful to you. There where so many more cards that I could write sth about cause of the way the depiction was done, but I figured it was already a super long comment. I hope that, since you mention looking for those now, they don't lock you in or close you off from enjoying different Lennys.
Oh they totally won’t lock me in or deprive me of any other lenny joy when it comes to decks that don’t take those things into consideration. But it’s very fun to now have new appreciation for those things! So thank you for that 💕

I appreciate the significator cards - I appreciate that diversity isn’t something folks can opt out of - which is how I feel about “here’s a BBIPOC sognificator but don’t worry you can toss it aside and keep the usual white significator”
Very, very with you on this. I’m this way too when it comes to alternate Lovers cards. For as many hetero lovers cards exist, it’s okay to make unapologetically queer ones as the only options in decks. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! 💜

Not so much with divination obv, as what was that hashtag from a few years ago, TarotSoWhite? But definitely growing up queer and not seeing anyone like me in tv, books, movies, or video games until I was like 20 definitely messed with my head, so I imagine it’s a very similar experience as a POC with all these super duper white decks. I’m so glad you vibe w the art and representation of Erika’s deck, and I hope you get on beautifully in person, too! 💜 oh, and thank you about the nails! I want to say that this color was either “Quicksand” by ILNP, or “Mermaid Hair” by Olive & June. But don’t quote me on that lol.
@@LarkandLegend yes! I am so very happy we are getting more representation for all people. It's about damn time! I know we could swap stories for hours! I took and taught ballet for about 35 years. So many people looked shocked. Between my skin, my thighs, and later as a bigger girl, sheesh 😒🙄 I digress. Keep on shining bright ⭐⭐

@@LarkandLegend thanks so much, Logan! Looking back now, I can say YES indeed! It all shut down with the Covid. Buuuut I am leaning more into yoga. Great strides have been made there in representation for all bodies. I just think reality is important. I mean, changing to fit a mold?? I've always been the weird and wacky ballet teacher, the unusual coworker, the woo woo mystical friend. That's just who I am. Now that I'm almost 52 😱😱😱 there is no choice but to accept Fully who I am. I mean, trying to make others more comfortable with me? I'm over it. 😅

Hiya! I’m so glad you enjoyed, so thank you! 💖 So as far as I know, the deck shown in the book isn’t an actual, attainable deck. It’s one that the publisher paid an artist to create strictly for use in the book as illustrations.
