The removal of the gold standard was a huge blow to currency but it didn’t cause the greed seen by corporations in America, that exists because the last 30 years people have been told to only worry about themselves thus losing their social conscience and giving them an excuse to not feel guilty for their actions. Prior to this people worked to build their community, corporations gave back and the wealth gap was not what it is today. Removing the gold standard screwed the American people out of a currently that’s actually worth something. I wonder if people know that countries that try to back their currency in gold usually lose the leaders trying to do so to unfortunate events

It will all be unnoticable as it gets absorbed in the numbers. Thus intentional corporate inflating of
food, fuel, housing costs. Thus denying access to good medical care for tens of millions. And thus the major cuts on deck for SOCIAL SECURITY & MEDICARE. Republicans "depreciate off" most retirees once they are no longer "A MEANS OF PRODUCTION". Same goes for the disabled.

The debt ceiling proposal released by the GOP proposed cuts that, if applied evenly, would cut up to 22% of VA funding, resulting in up to 30 million fewer outpatient visits, 81,000 jobs cut, and an increased backlog of 134,000 claims.
Republicans have claimed that they would not make cuts to the VA, however, there is no carve out in the bill to protect veterans benefits despite 24 veterans service organizations signing onto a letter asking Congress to protect VA funding.
Even if Republicans did protect VA funding, their debt ceiling bill (the Limit, Save, Grow Act), could still cut housing, job training, and Pell grants for veterans, as well as billions of dollars of veterans’ healthcare funding allocated through COVID funds.
