These are a interesting insite to the people behind the company
I first read about the company (West Coast Transport) back in the early 80's I think when there wasa article in the "Truck and Bus" magazine
Very interesting and I reckon I have read the print off it over the years, sounds a bit silly but in the days before the internet I re read many magazines
Anyway, the article obviously made a impression on me as I have never forgotten
I sort of rediscovered the company with the advent of Facebook many many years later
I think I recognize the paint scheme of the trucks more than the name as the name had changed
I can't even begin to imagine what it was like in Holland during and after the war
And even to come out to Australia were you don't even speak or understand the language
The De Bruyn family are made of some pretty tough stuff thats for sure
