howzit gents, just remember to only use your front break for stopping during the test except for the emergency brake, just failed my test because I used my back and front break for the swerve on a rainy day and my bike slid out from under me Goodluck everyone, practice hard I believe in you.
I remember when I went for the test, I failed 2 times and the third time I passed, even today I'm still grateful coz it wasn't easy for me since ain't a regular rider
Still remember when I did my licence: had to redo that last one (emergency stop and evasive maneuver) like 5 times coz I kept skidding due to sand on the field!! Was quite intimidating.
When I did my test the tester told us as a group ride up that hill turn around and comes back, back in those days I think if you got back you got a license
May I ask, Is there a minimum engine size one needs to go test with, I was by to get a 125cc to practice my road skills with but I wouldn't want it to be that I can't test with it.
125cc is the minimum. If you do your test with it you can only ride a 125cc legally. You need to do the test on a 150cc or bigger to get a legal licence for any size bike.
@@93MightyMan hi there. you are welcome. i would recommend a 125 if you are basically learning to ride. ive been riding for 15 years and finally decided to stop writing the learners test and get the licence
This might seem like a stupid question, but is there a requirement when stopping that dictates what foot goes down first? Do I have to be fully stopped?
On the hill your left foot needs to be down because your right will be on the break while you check your blind spots.... Another thing, I do not recommend a 600cc or a 1000cc for this. Its not a train smash if you do but the evasive maneuvers will be more trickier..... this gentleman also turned too late, leaving not enough time to break in time.... good video though. Comprehensive
Surely this is not a pass...at the far end of the yard, when you are taking a U turn to go back to the guy, you rolled through the Stop several times...that's a fail isn't it?
You can, but then your license will only be valid for motorcycles with an automatic gearbox. If the scooter's engine capacity is 125cc or less, then it will also be limited to bikes with an engine capacity of 125cc or less.
Thanks for the video! Passed my test this morning just by watching this and reading the book. So helpful
well done my dude!

My test is coming up next week and I am so excited! Thank you for upload
How'd it go?
I failed Thando (was disappointed) but, I am even more determined to get it now
@@vaughnyafe2311 You'll get it this time around. Goodluck!

It's been a year. So how's it going?
Thanks for the video mate. Passed today at the same testing station.

Wow thank you for your upload I've always wanted to know what I'll be getting myself into

@@F1BOY2007 Did getting the licence make any difference on your insurance?
Thanks a million for the video... I’ve got my test first thing next year 👍
whois fegus molaskas im doing it next week😬
Thanks for this vid, I watched it repeatedly and passed!
😎Passed my test today. Did it in Milnerton as well
Hey bro, first time I'm seeing this test. Thanks a mil.
For the last bit, it's the emergency stop to the right, then left, then straight I'm assuming?
There is no set order.. I dd to 2 emergency stops, and 1 swerve to each side.

In the uk you have a theory test, a CBT compulsory bike training which takes a day, then a yard test and a road test of 40 mins, now that’s a test
And yet if you look at the dash cam videos of the UK that does not seem to help.
i'm so nervous as i am doing mine tomorrow at Gallows Greenpoint.
Did you pass??
How fast do we have to enter the speed trap
A bit long a chaotic, I did mine in the UK 🇬🇧 was totally different.
This might seem like a stupid question, but is there a requirement when stopping that dictates what foot goes down first? Do I have to be fully stopped?
Armandt van den Berg i’m not a 100% sure but just to be safe, stop with left foot down and keep right foot on the brake until you stop
@@chadbilsbury2670 agreed .
@Chad I agree

Is there a road test of a bike
Nope
Surely this is not a pass...at the far end of the yard, when you are taking a U turn to go back to the guy, you rolled through the Stop several times...that's a fail isn't it?
Is this the testing centre in somerset west?
No
Cool
Did you pass?
i did yes.
Easy peazy did mine years ago.
Can you test with an automatic or a scooter?

You made me fail brother. On your lane change you crossed the solid line... he didnt fail you... but he failed me for that
I think you were done in chief. I've just done my license 2 hours ago and the cop specifically told me to cross the solid line
I think I'd specifically ask about this when I go for my test
I think its all about the examiner... allows it or not....
Probably heard the word camera and now he is also nervous 😂😂😂so think next time also mount a camera
All black cops are scared of white people in SOUTH AFRICA!
Which traffic department was this?
it was at a testing station in the south some where
Looks like Milnerton Traffic dep
Im doing mine today @ Milnerton, so this vid is perfect for me. This vid made me a little less nervous, thanks for the upload
Make riding licence for 500cc above using sportbike like r6. Mannn that coolll👍. Even my country just using beginner 650cc bike😂
Bro an R6 and SV650 are two different bikes...the R6 is a race bike for the road
Thats so easy wtf
Lots of mistakes
Doing mine at korsten driving Centre , wish me luck 🥲
